This is unexpected for Arrow McLaren. It was a defeat for Hinchcliffe.
But at the same time - this became an investment for young talent. It was something that no other team has ever done other than the other top 2 of the big 3. While other young talent are being asked to provide funding, Arrow McLaren SP is willing to roll the dice and provide the funding.

If Arrow McLaren were REALLY SMART - they would run a 3rd car for Hinch - the veteran to lead the newbies.

Shows you the real truth I feel.

You mean besides taking them from complete clusterfuck to the best of the midfield? That handling of McLaren?

From putrid to bad is not a big step. The midfield is bad. Until McLaren is a legit contender for poles and wins - then something will have been accomplished. As is stands, Williams is a boat anchor, the other six teams are as bad as each other.

The midfield is not bad, the front runners are great. Renault, McLaren and Toro Rosso are good. Racing Point, Haas and Alfa would all love to be as consistent as those three are. Only Williams is truly putrid. Even then, most days no more than about 3 seconds covers the field in qualifying.

NEVER SAW IT COMING.
Pigot should be worried now.
Either way, it is time for Ed to be owner and let Nico drive the #20 full-time. Give him the ovals too.

ECR needs money and Veekay brings lots of it.
Pigot was sort of meh to me. Never quite lived up.

Conor once again could be in frame. But does he still has USAF backing him?
Sad for Jones too. But he could go to Carlin and re-unite with Trevor.

Robin Miller hearing that Kanaan and Charlie Kimball will be sharing the 14 Foyt entry next season. Kimball has funding for a partial season.
TK should just retire right now.

^ Kinda saw that coming. His best days were after most of the Champ Car teams bailed to the IRL.
Hearing he has an IMSA ride already.
