I get the BAD BAD feeling from the cars slowing to que up for their Hot Lap while others are on Hot Laps and there is virtually no sight distance at the speeds they are turning. I haven't seen any White Flags for Slow Vehicles on track. Normally such a flag would be used for a Emergency Vehicle or a vehicle limping back to the pits. You should get your eyes checked. In P1 and P2 there were white flags everywhere, especially leading into the final corner.

Just Q1. Q2 and 3 will be fine. Not with cars trying to get more than 7 seconds separation on a less than 90 second lap. No. Just Q1. Q2 and 3 will be fine.

Remember they are like girls going to the rest room - they all go at once and want priority on THEIR going.

My feeling is many will expect disaster in qualifying after which many will predict disaster in the race. The Saudi's and F1 did an excellent job covering up the track's rawness with lighting, hoardings, sod, etc. even to the point of wrapping an unfinished building. And don't overlook that there is a Ferris wheel. Ferrari has declared the LeClerc chassis, engine, and gear box to be fine. Cough, Monaco. Except for the tub they were probably all Friday parts anyway.

Qualifying could be a fustercluck Just Q1. Q2 and 3 will be fine. I have reconsidered. Q1 will be fine, Q2 will be messy, probably a crash, maybe 2, Q3 will be fine.

If they can pull off qualifying in Monaco they can do it here. The big difference is the average speed. Monaco is prolly close to the slowest average speed. They were saying today that the average speed here is second only to Monza. This track is prolly a cluster f+++ waiting to happen.

There are going to be multiple RED FLAGS. The closing speeds are just too great.

The closing speeds are no different than other high speed tracks. Will there be a crash or two? Probably and I have predicted a safetycar but with the way the walls are so close it will be difficult for a car to hit something dead on and stop abruptly. Much like the Korea or Baku tracks. Also the drivers all love the circuit so they don't see it as dangerous. Traffic in qualifying is tricky part but there are driver meetings to sort that stuff out.

I suspect this race is going to be one safetycar after another. I just hope nobody gets hurt.

I'm hearing a lot of track limits crickets. It appears that the track will enforce its own limits without Steward's assistance.
