Red flag L1 almost guaranteed

The difference I see in Saudi are the speed of those corners that flow together, some will be flat and some will require a slight lift then back to flat cars should be able to maintain a run and get the pass done on the straight. Like I said earlier I think the true drivers who have amazing car control will own T4-12 and 15-18. A blind apex with a wall that comes at you fast will make a few of those guys be very careful when they get back on the throttle, if they get on it a half second to soon their ass will be parked in a barrier. The guys that find a rhythm will do very well here, I predict Bottas will be fast on Friday but once the track gets rubbered in he will be off Hamilton's pace. Honda needs to bring a kamikaze special to try on Friday just to see if its worth the risk, damage limitation for Max is P2 with someone else taking fastest lap from Lewis. If he finishes third and Lewis takes fastest lap Abu Dhabi will be very interesting.. Another possibility is in McLaren who ran so well at high speed in Monza. Disaster for either Max or Lewis is if one or both of the McLarens are able to break up the 1-2 train they've had lately. It highlights even more that Perez or Bottas could also be in the same position and disrupt the points available behind the leader. And with only 2 races to go in the season that's what we have been asking for for YEARS, someone who doesn't win the titles by race 12 or 15 and then cruises thru the rest of the season laughing at everyone else.

Autosport posters are predicting a major disaster....................................no word on the over/under for Mazespin. Mazepin wrecks in P1 Probably but if Lulu isn't first will he do the same thing in one of the qualy sessions? He's under alot more pressure this season than most of his WDC tries.

Too many turns - camera angles give too limited a view of what is taking place.

Slow cars and limited sight lines are going to create a incident before the weekend is done.

LeClerc bangs the wall - ends FP2 under Red Flag. Interestingly, LeClerc's engineer told him to use one gear lower in that corner at the beginning of that lap.

I just have to say ... this track & its surroundings are beautiful, day or night. I remember people complaining that it'll be like racing through a construction zone or like Valencia or Korea, but it doesn't look that way at all. I'm pretty blown away at how well the whole thing has come together given the pics we saw leading up to the race. Don't know how it will race, but it looks amazingly fun to drive, and the drivers seem to love it. I also get a bit of a Korea vibe from the onboards.

I have a bad feeling about this track count me in. I watched both P1 & P2. toward the end of the lap there's a long left hander. The cars queue up on the left trying to get a good start on a hot lap. At the same time cars are taking the same corner at high speed on a hot lap. Those cars are on the right side or outside part of the corner. All ya need is one car to pull to the right to jump the queue and the wreck is gonna be massive. and that's not the only problem. to many blind corners.

Qualifying could be a fustercluck Just Q1. Q2 and 3 will be fine.

I get the BAD BAD feeling from the cars slowing to que up for their Hot Lap while others are on Hot Laps and there is virtually no sight distance at the speeds they are turning. I haven't seen any White Flags for Slow Vehicles on track. Normally such a flag would be used for a Emergency Vehicle or a vehicle limping back to the pits.

Qualifying could be a fustercluck Just Q1. Q2 and 3 will be fine. Not with cars trying to get more than 7 seconds separation on a less than 90 second lap.
