It'll happen. Most of the buildings, etc will be unfinished, but they'll get all the racing essentials ready. Most of that stuff is already in, and iirc the track itself just needs the final lift of asphalt.

I wonder how many passports were promised to be returned to their slave lab.... Err work force if they got the track ready on time...
I ran through this track last week on f12021, following will be interesting through the corners, the straights didn't seem to be as impressive as the Hamilton fan club are saying they will be.

Will this be another Mercedes track? Is that what the fanbois are saying? upon further review im not sure what track I did last week it sure wasn't Saudi Merc is probably going to stomp everyone next weekend, basically whom ever can trim the car enough and keep it planted through the corners with minimal throttle lift has a damn good chance at winning. The draft is going to be huge on most of those straights, it will be interesting in the medium speed corners who picks up the throttle first without putting the car in the wall or who gets cute with corner cutting. Its going to be real easy to try and cheat just a little bit on the entry into T6 T4-9 will be interesting to see who tries them flat six has plenty of run off to experiment 14-26 is pretty much flat 16 is probably a lift and a tap on the brakes and 22 is a quick lift them back to flat. The drinking game, take a shot every time Crofty says a straight thats not straight...... I see no reason why Redbull wouldnt throw a one race rocket engine into Maxs car, I am pretty sure Bottas should finish above him unless he finds a way to screw it up.....

Wow, why not just open DRS for the entire track, that just seems silly fast.

So the race doesn't start until 12:25 pm est...? That could be problematic for OGR - who could well be into his fourth Bloody Mary by then... Then again, that could be a good thing...

An off the strip bar in Las Vegas fries up bacon and puts it into vodka bottles and after a few days of flavor infusing uses that to make their Bloody Mary's, people say they are very very good. It's fried enough to be cooked but not enough to be crispy so it slides into the bottle in one strip.

It's ugly...and dumb.
Worse than Singapore. At least there you have some idea of where the car is on the track, even if it seems like it is a parking garage chase scene.
I'll just watch F1TV track monitor.

I've always felt Singapore's biggest drawback was that it was held at night. The early practice sessions were always more enjoyable because they had background that had some appeal. The same will probably be true even more so in Jeddah because many of the relevant backdrops are still to be completed. There's nothing with contrast in the view much like in Qatar.

Singapore may not be much to look at but it's more Monaco than Monaco, there's always a big time gap between drivers times and it punishes the foolish. I hope it comes back next year.

The Jeddah track may look un-inspired but I have feeling it will be an absolute blast to drive. The drivers will love it and maybe the racing will good.

It appears their strategy is going to be: "Our Race Track will look REALLY NICE - Next Year - We Promise!!!"

Craig Ferguson (from late night TV) calls bacon "Nature's Candy"... I've had to give up alcohol, so thank God that bacon infused vodka isn't offered around here, or I'd be helpless to resist...

I've been putting much thought into what to drink next weekend. As they race in another non alcoholic country. :-) Bloody Mary's may fit the bill. :-) Some V8 juice, celery stick and whatever else goes in em. I'll get my morning dose of Grey Goose vodka and my daily dose of veggies. :-)
