That last turn banking is epic! Reminiscent of Riverside, only tighter.

Well this looks like a fun track. I do see a lot of potential for safetycars or redflags in the race based on what happened today. Anyway, I like it.

F1 moves another step closer to NASCAR/Indy. Safer.

To me the stands look like there was a mass release from prison.

F1 moves another step closer to NASCAR/Indy. Safer. And yet in some areas it looks like they are still using the very things that Romain Grosjean had to slip thru to survive...they don't seem to learn from their mistakes!!! NO ONE thought that the area Grosjean had his accident would EVER EVER have that serious of an accident yet he did and the FIA is STILL doing 'cost benefit analysis' to play with drivers lives!!! New tracks should ALWAYS have the best available at the time and if they can't factor that into the cost then maybe the track shouldn't be built!! It's not like tracks are built for a 3 year lifespan and we all know how track owners, looking at you Austin Texas track Owner, will cut costs to save a penny if they can and as all cars and bikes etc get faster and faster that puts lives in danger. Remember when Nascar thought an 8 foot high fence was plenty on the front straight until over a dozen people got hurt and died when a car and it' parts went thru the fence!!! YES the fans seem to have a bigger buffer away from the track, ie when 'Tex' was doing his live shot this morning but that doesn't help the drivers.

Kimi tested positive for Covid. We will get Kubica 3.0 instead.

How does that turn's banking compare to banked circuits in America? If you watch the videos in posts 3, 4 and 5 in this thread you will find out. F off. That would assume I have the energy, the time and the desire to watch those videos. I asked a simple f'ing question. You don't want to answer, that's fine. But telling me off like that? That's not cool man. You want to drive people off this board? You're doing a great job. So again: F off.

How does that turn's banking compare to banked circuits in America? I believe it's 17-18 degrees, excellent half mile short track banking. The now defunct Mesa Marin in CA was 17 degrees, iirc. Fast as hell. That's how you answer a simple damn question. Thank you wilmywood.

Turns out Max had a DRS failure on his final run in Q3. His pole time could have been even better. WOW!
