They will need to be very careful on how much the Chinese are involved as they have a very bad habit of stealing all the secrets and then forming their own companies to build stuff inside China. That could include everything from aero stuff to ICU and Hybrid stuff as well as whatever else you can think of.

Zhou. Could mean full time or just wishful thinking. There's an app- Google lens that can translate text in photos etc.

I wonder if his handers will require access to the Alfa tech stuff like China does when dealing with companies? If they do I hope the FIA turns them down as it could set a bad precedent.

Why would they require access? Because the tech they are using could be used in Chinese cars and the energy recovery and battery systems and the whole ECU could provide people who can read that kind of stuff a leg up in their own quest to be better, ie if I am using 100k lines of code to do something and you are doing it in 25k lines then there is alot of room to improve my way of doing things. After that it's the 'aha' moment someone gets that leads to an even better way of doing things.

No other drivers have people that get to see what the drivers and their engineers do so what makes you think anyone would break that protocol for him?

Because "China" China will nationalize a JV overnight and guess what the other side can do about it, rhymes with tought shit.....I wonder if this had anything to do with Andretti pulling out. Wasnt it mentioned someone wanted control of the team with a minority stake?

The Race pretty much said the same thing, He's F1's gait way to China's return in 2023 and possibly a second race in the future.
