I don't know what this means in practice, “retains a relationship with him that includes future options”. Capito says "he is a Williams driver" so it does not seem like Red Bull has any contractural hold on him. I mean, EVERY team will keep their eye on him. |

Caire Williams used to say the same thing about Russell, all it means is there's a driver contract in place. The real thrust of the article is Capato and his long standing ties to Red Bull, he won't even say yes or no to the question of there being RB sponsorship on the car. |

I don't have any idea what Sergio brings to the team or keeps for himself. Sponsorship is fairly simple, you run at the front it's more profitable, you run at the back it's less profitable. You get a shot at 30 million you look like you're a front runner even if you're not.
