So Spa! Hooray! Go Pink Mercedes and Red Bull and frankly anyone not named Hamboner.
I think they keep adding races to the schedule?
Thoughts and prayers to Vettel who now apparently is now his own strategist and engineer.
Discuss!
Also, let's all play when the Indy500 is run next weekend since we are in a hellscape.

I just can't believe that Ferrari is soooo screwed up with Vettel right now, first they say this then they say that then they blame each other on the radio! I hope Sainz gets to bring his own Engineer and Strategist with him next season because Vettel's is a fricking mess!! Either that or the data communication between the Team itself is so slow and disjointed they need to clean house!!

Can Ferrari engineers come up with a face mask that doesn't ride down all the time?

Can Ferrari engineers come up with a face mask that doesn't ride down all the time? It appears beyond their strategy ability.

Can Ferrari engineers come up with a face mask that doesn't ride down all the time? It appears beyond their strategy ability. So many of the face masks have vents as well. That sort of defeats the main purpose, which is to stop the wearer from spewing out virus-laden particles. Vettel was correct; he asked earlier about the strategy. I may have missed it (I was listening on several radios) but I did not hear a definitive response until they asked him to go to the end. He did a great job getting that car over the line without getting passed by everyone or losing a tire. His pace was actually quite good at that point relative to cars around him on fresh tires.

Also, let's all play when the Indy500 is run next weekend since we are in a hellscape. over the years there's been a few drivers who can, when they have to, call their own race. That they have to is the problem. Over the last 20 or so years we've seen it with Alonso. Then Kimi with his famous "leave me alone, I know what I'm doing" race. We've seen it with Vettel. And lately we've see this with Verstappen. The Schu never had to as he usually had Ross in the pits. Look at what Ruth Buscombe did for Haas. She was only with the team for a few races in their 1st year. The first race that year in Australia when Alonso crashed she read the situation, called the cars in for a tire change. Saved the team a pit stop. And they got what was it, 5th and 6th in their 1st race. With that one call she made the team millions of dollars. That call is right up there with Ross telling the schu in the french race in about 98, "Michael, we need 18 laps at qualifying pace. The schu delivered and they won the race. That Ferrari now days can't call a coherent race from the pit wall is very sad.

If management is not willing to hire people that may outshine them or is unable to identify talented people or willing to listen to their talented people it will never happen. I would like to be in a meeting with their management to see if they actively participate in the conversation or stare off into space and the only way to get their attention is to yell squirrel......

Many of the most successful people state - my job is not to be the 'smartest' individual on the nuts and bolts of the operation - it is picking the best and brightest to handle the nuts and bolts and then mold all of those 'smartest', best & brightest people into a team to solve the challenges facing the organization.

last night I was sleeping on the sofa as that's where the AC is. And I was dreaming that Kimi had a car that could compete this year at Spa. Then I woke up. :-)

Bottom 4 positions on the P2 time chart occupied by Ferrari powered cars. Alfa are quicker than Ferrari.

Ferrari is a depressing mess. FP1 with 3 cars out of 6 down with engine problems is just pitiful. Flagellation with a thorny bush might be needed.
