I saw a few of the can-am races back in the day. 69, 70. kind like today le mans race. the orange cars were pretty much untouchable.

the 1970 can-am race at mont tremblant. the way I remember, that shadow was something special. a titanium frame. also, the way I remember he got to close to the car in front, at the top of the small hill, and lost the downforce on the front of the car. and up it went, ala mark weber. :-)

The IMSA GTP era, seeing Chevy V6's and V8's, Buick V6's, Pontiac Tech 4's, Olds Quad 4's. Not all in the same class. But it was neat watching the development of different engine configs play out.
