What was there to celebrate? That this season is over.

George should be ahead of Lewis in points this season, or signifantly closer. But he has made mistakes. Lewis has good races when the car performs. If it is not perfect for him he struggles. The greats of the past have wieded below avg cars to great seasons and wins(MS in 96 which was a turd) and Senna in numerous cars. That is what keeps me from putting Lewis up there. If he doesn't have the best car and no competitive teammate he wins. When he has that he loses more than he wins. Yep. First year without a race-winning car for Lewis, too. In 17 season.

Hey Danica Fan. They interviewed your Maria and the grid walk this morning. She’s a real looker. I gotta say I liked what I saw from Danica this weekend.

I really wish they would put the drivers name somewhere we could see it during the on-board shots. Yeah they have so much crap graphics all over the screen it's often hard to even tell which team's car it is.

Oh wait... that wouldn't require any sensors or electronics.

Well, so much for 2023. Great to see Alonso back at the front, at least part of the time. In any event, great to see he is still great. The best of the modern era imho.

to be fair, it was damaged as well. He bumped Gasly with his wing. What was the excuse in Quali? And do they not have spare wings? Excuses Yeah Lulu did it all on his own, and somehow didn't get a penalty for a worse collision than the nothing, damageless collision Perez was penalized for. Lewis damaged his car and Gasly's and it would have been even worse if not for Gasly locking up.

Excuses LOL to the Sky fanbois for actually trying to blame GASLY for Lulu forgetting how to stop a car, and how about that now patented passing off track in the 1st corner. Truly he IS the greatest. Wow I missed that. What was their rationale? That must have been some remarkable gymnastics.

OBTW I loved the caption under the flyover. Something like "F1 Sustainable Flyover by Qatar Airways" - after banning military flyovers to reduce carbon emissions - as a massive commercial jet and 7 small jets fly past. Too funny, just like all the burnouts at the end of the sustainable racing season. LOL. Good stuff. And to be clear, I have no problem with it not being 'sustainable'. It's racing, which anyone with half a brain knows isn't eco-friendly. It's the pretense I find distasteful.

Something to the effect of Gasly locked up and had to gather the car back in so he was moving slower than Lulu expected, which is Brit-speak for someone had his head up his ass. Gasly locked up but still made the apex so it was more like Hamilton made a dive for a hole that never opened up, broke the Alpine's diffuser (losing it .4 secs a lap) and got no penalty in the bargain.

What i wouldn't give for someone to do a tailpipe sniffer test on one of those "world saving" marketing gimmicks. Pretty sure there's some dioxides being puffed out.

Yeah that's pretty much what I expected they'd say, and of course, it doesn't really make much sense.
