Lest we forget. 46 races without a win. Forza Scuderia Ferrari. Been a while for a 1-2 for Ferrari...

Between Mercedes fans wanting Ferrari to beat Red Bull and Red Bull fans wanting Ferrari to beat Mercedes, methinks the red cars will be the most popular this year.

Maybe the failures have to do with how the car is packaged, or were the pump is placed. Back in the first turbo era Honda was known for producing very rough running engines, on his first test drive with Honda power Prost brought the car back in without completing a lap because he thought it was going to blow up, Nakajima told him they always ran like that. It's not like Red Bull doesn't also have a history of tinkering with FIA mandated fuel system parts. 2014 Australia. Just sayin' Let me be among the first to say I'm suspicious of how powerful those "Hondas" are. Didn't they also put an out of spec alternator on the Renault in Sebs car once that cost him a Monza victory years back?

The Honda leash is off so they can "experiment" again. Why else would they have hired all those Merc engineers except for their "knowledge"? It's good for trash talk if nothing else.

Agreed but i think Pirelli needs to deliver on the tire front or it's finally time to call Michelin.

so. Someone help me out. Ferrari looks really good under the lights. But up close the paint looks dull or flat. what's that about?

Although I am very pleased to see Ferrari win, we were told to wait 4-5 years for regulations that would make racing less machine dependant, more driver skill tuned and more exciting
We waited and waited and at the end we got the same shit, just the grid flipped. Its not like Norris turned to crap and somehow Magnussen became great by being out of F1.
So that was a big fail.
Now, lets enjoy this new Ferrari era

Everyone from Hamilton back to Zhou shared equally in this luck. Zhou would not have scored points in his debut if not for that luck. I still give him credit. Ok, but you didn't say a word about him scoring his first point being "great strategy". I also didn't minimize the Ferrari 1-2 by calling it luck :-)

Did anyone hear if Alonso was having car issues yesterday? He seemed pretty ordinary. Lost out at the start and passed twice by his teammate. Ocon beat him even with the 5-second penalty.

As an avid Ferrari fan I can say that Ferrari's strong finish was not luck, but the 1-2 was. Sainz just couldn't get into second on his own all race. I don't know exactly what the deal was but he couldn't match LeClerc all race. Having the second Red Bull die was lucky for him.
Speaking of the dying Red Bulls, I saw that RB was blaming the FIA issued fuel pumps. Morons on Twitter and and other social media platforms said that it was because RB tampered with them, which is pretty much impossible. Interesting how they were the only cars to have issues though.

Haas has proved even a very small team can build a car that is within a second of the leaders. Please be patient, everything is going in the right direction for now. www.pitpass.com/72054/Lets-not-get-ahead-of-ourselves-urges-Brawn

They weren't the only team, the FIA allowed all team to inspect their fuel systems in parc ferme and some teams swapped out pumps after qualifying.

E10 fuel has been on road use for decades. Very surprised it killed two stupid fuel pumps at the same time in less than a race distance.
