Tomorrow the FIA gives their findings at the F1 Commission meeting although final approval will not happen until the WMSC meeting on March 18.
As I understand it the public release may not be until March 18.

This 'calling a red flag' talk is just a red herring.

I, and pretty much everyone else here, is done with your merry-go-rounds of pointlessness. Toto asked for "no red flags" at least twice and possibly a third time in Abu Dhabi. If you actually followed F1 news beyond Lewis Hamilton you would have already read about. Get the hint? And none of this changes the fact that if Mercedes had simply pitted Hamilton for tires he would've won the race no matter what. Boohoo for Hamilton fans. |

Wolff requested that Massi not deploy a safety car in the earlier wreck after Verstappen pitted under the yellow and Hamilton did not. I don't believe a red flag was even an option at that point nor should it have been. I heard the request "no safety car" at that time. Nothing about red flags. Go ahead and believe what you want, though. |
