There were other posts in between talking about the qualifying penalty. Forget it, you are hopeless. Of course there were. But that is not what Boomer and I were discussing. It's pretty straightforward. I was not addressing every single Qatar post with my query. I was addressing the specifics of the VSC. You just don't get it. You drop into the race thread several hours after the checkered flag and start cherry picking posts about certain things that have already been discussed ad nauseam by several other people. Watching you is like witnessing a circular firing squad on a merry-go-round. |

Again I will ask, how did the VSC play a role in this? Your statement doesn't make sense to me. IMHO the Virtual Safety Car at the close of the race was 'Insurance', just to be sure no one could pass Hamilton, if he got a puncture. The race was effectively ended to prevent any additional stress on Lewis' tires jeopardizing his pending victory. Just as was done in Quali, to prevent a faster lap than Lewis had done. Thank you for the response, by the way. I guess that is your opinion but Hamilton's tires only had 14 laps on them. He'd gone 18 laps with full tanks at the beginning of the race when he was pushing (versus the end with a much lighter car and cruising as he had an eight second lead with four laps to go). He was staying off the curbs as can easily be seen on his onboard camera. His tires were in no danger at all. There were track marshals over the wall in a corner so a VSC is perfectly reasonable and standard. Did this break precedent? Are you saying the FIA, the same organization that DQ'd Hamilton the week prior, is contriving to randomly help Lewis win by throwing yellow flags and VSCs? Seems to me that they would prefer that Max wins the WDC as that would make an even bigger spectacle next season. It also seems like there would be easier ways to do so. |

So is Brundle purposely trying to counter all the BS coming from Crofty, Ant, Karun etc to balance the team or did Sky tell him to.....
Most weekends it seems to be Brundle and Button vs the rest of the broadcasting team, and you can sometimes here the face palm in Buttons voice when one of the Muppets says something incredibly stupid.
