Indeed. I was wondering if the race was going to flip upside-down had Hamilton get a puncture.
Anyways. This whole weekend felt like a fix. Total bullshit penalty for Max and given how he jumped from 7th to 2nd in a few laps, we were certainly robbed of a good championship fight.
They closed this fiasco with a pathetic reprimand for Horner but when Toto loses his shit they say nothing.

Again I will ask, how did the VSC play a role in this? Your statement doesn't make sense to me. IMHO the Virtual Safety Car at the close of the race was 'Insurance', just to be sure no one could pass Hamilton, if he got a puncture. The race was effectively ended to prevent any additional stress on Lewis' tires and jeopardize his pending victory. Just as was done in Quali, to prevent a faster lap than Lewis had done. there were course workers in the runoff area removing Latifi's car, VSC was the right call. |

Hopefully at that sessions(s) he can bring different ways of making things better as someone not normally directly involved with what they, Track Side Marshalls do one hell of a job at their own risk and expense and should be fully supported with anything and everything they need to do their jobs better. |

The penile-ized drivers should have been allowed to complete their qualifying laps. In fact, they did (without incident), and were punished not for endangering track workers but for endangering Hamilton's pole! IMHO

VSC was correct but it did feel like there was some hesitation in making the call. Max pitted right away for the fast lap softs and the timing was right for that even if the VSC hadn't been called. Would they have done it otherwise? Probably.

Am waiting to see a heavy penalty applied to Bottas for the upcoming race at Jeddah. What a complete Fucktard! Sliding off the track after puncturing his tire and like a man possessed (or likely commanded by Toto himself) to wildly and recklessly endanger the other drivers, he maniacally cuts across the racing line repeatedly, sparks erupting from his mount like a determined and fatally-hit Kamikaze bomber presses relentlessly on to the pits, come hell or high water with such careless abandon that demanded immediate sanction. Of course; none to be seen or even commented on by the asshole-brigade that is SKY Sports or the stewards or even Michael Masi his-own-asshole-self.
What this series has so obviously become in the last couple of races can be summed up in a single word; CONTRIVED
