And here's COTA'sresponse today to the people they took $210 from & then failed to deliver service to in the Lot Q fiasco. A $60 refund and a $150 credit toward next year, to a bunch of people who mostly don't ever want to return to COTA. Unbelievable, really, for anyone else, but it's such a perfectly typical, predictably 'COTA' way of responding. These people need to dispute their credit card charges. And that's why i said everyone affected needs to email the FIA to complain about COTA and it's response to them, that they won't be going again yada yad yada. If the FIA gets enough heat like in Belgium Cota too will respond or the FIA will not be happy and that could mean ALOT more improvements before next years race, ie COTA loses more than they would if they just refunded the money. COTA would then of course take the parking people to Court to get their money back, resulting in alot of finger pointing etc but maybe a few tidbits of knowledge regarding attendance too.

If Texas doesn't know all of this, then it seems they do not WANT to know all this. They probably provide those loopholes on purpose. Absolutely. That's part of the scam. The politicians are getting greased to keep that money flowing. That's why Governor Abbott moved the supervision of the subsidy into the Governor's office, so people would have to come to him to get the money. Remember that when he runs for president soon. Let's put it this way: The State's idea of attendance 'certification' for these subsidies is when they require COTA to submit a piece of paper with a number on it - the 'Attendance Certification' - that a COTA rep certifies. And that's where the the 'certification' ends, lol. And that COTA rep is never Bobby. He always gets one of his minions to do it. No way hje'd put his signature to something like that.

AND email FOM as well. And the rest of your post is spot on. If the contractor actually failed COTA, then COTA should refund the customers and seek compensation from the contractor. An Autosport poster who is in the event industry responded, saying that he does 25-30 big events annually, and in a situation like what COTA is claiming, they would just immediately refund all of the customers' money and then go after the contractor. And that's what any legitimate enterprise would do. Indeed, given COTA's extremely litigious nature, I'm certain that the if the contractor is actually at fault, COTA's lawyers were working on the lawsuit the very next day. And who were these 'cash-paying commuters' anyway? That story about sounds utterly fabricated, but then COTA is fond of fabrication, year in, and year out. Say something that nobody can prove is false, and then beat that horse to death.

I cried like a little bitch about asphalt. Yep. You sure did. I guess you think these people have no beef & COTA has handled it all very well. That would be true to your established form.

I haven't read a thing here from "these people" but sure read a shit load from you. I do think COTA and Texas handled it perfectly for this to be the last race there. I hope.

CoTA should be paying each one $250 flat out CASH.

Good to see you're getting informed, then. And you'll probably be disappointed since COTA is likely getting at least one more year. Once Vegas hits the schedule in 2023, though, all bets are off.

In my opinion, the discussion about the attendance is much ado about nothing. They sold tickets for however many hundred thousand. It doesn't really matter if only half showed up. The track was like a washboard. But most of the cars finished. It was a cracker of a race. That's what matters. The people having to walk back to their cars was f+++ed up. We won't know if what's his name shot himself in the foot over that fiasco until next year. As for the journalists saying it was the biggest attendance ever. They've been saying things like that for ever. Most can't remember what happened last month. :-)

Epstein is a horse's ass on par with what's his fuck Tony George, both are viruses in motorsports.

I doubt you knew about what happened at COTA before you read it here, but it's possible, if you were actually following it. There have been thousands of social media posts about all the different issues. And I'm glad you're so entertained by my posts that you complain about so often. I aim to please.
