The battle for most overtakes is pretty interesting. Vettel 105 Alonso 100 Sainz 95 Does count the ones Alonso had to give back for driving like it was still 2001? I LOVE Alonso and am VERY glad he's back in F1 BUT he has to learn not to dive bomb corners and think he can get away with it. |

Two things in the pre-race which were pretty bad. Calling Danica the most successful woman in American motorsports. Pretty sure there are many females in NHRA drag racing that could dispute that.
When Crofty asked Danica what Christian Horner would tell Perez what to do today. Her reply was "His job is to support Lewis and help him win his 8th Championship." Ugh. Nice try.
The pro-Hamilton voices of Sky were extra nauseating today. I guess because of his past history at the track that Lewis was a lock. But he wasn't. That made me smile.

I have no idea who she was but she seemed willing to talk. Her entourage were a bunch of ass clowns that though they were tough guys and tried to keep Brundle from talking to her. |

After today I hope Mercedes stops giving engines to Bottas like candy. Maybe they need to sustracting constructor points beyond a certain number of engines used.

What is the purpose of this excess engine business at Merc? Is it cheating by fixing weak points in the design and replacing the existing (inferior) allotment of ICE's? |

I think Mercedes dialed them up a biy to try and keep up and it is costing them reliability

Until i actually see a Merc unit go Kablamo i'm calling BS on the whole "reliability problem". |

LOL, yeah he was actually taller than Lewis, who was standing 18" off the ground.
So from what I'm hearing & reading, there are still loads of people stuck out at/around COTA. Apparently most shuttle buses have stopped running, fans are having to direct traffic in places, people are having to walk from the track to Lot Q, 3 miles past Lot T, out 812, traffic taking 3-4 hours to move 4 or 5 miles, taking 3 hours just to get out of the parking lot, etc. Thousands of tweets about it, tweeting @cota, & they just don't say shit. It's nuts. COTA is such a fucking joke.

If there's gonna be a penalty for replacing components, I've always thought that should be it anyway. No penalty for the driver for a team issue. |

The icing on top of the cake was to see Lewis and Toto’s facial expressions and body language after losing at their ‘home’ track, what with his ‘hanger-on-posse' and all.
Who was responsible letting Shaq being driven in Clark Griswold’s ghetto-barge into pit lane? Never saw such a breach of F1 protocol.

And I agree with Martin that there not be a reduction in the penalty after 5 new engines, if anything it should be more of a penalty instead of less. |
