And the cause of the bodywork damage? They barely mention that it was the result of Lewis bashing into the curbs. So Lewis was slow because HE broke his car.
This sucking up to Lewis has got to stop.

It's humorous and sad. You get these top drivers trying the outside and when it fails you get the radio "he forced me off". It's like a soccer player taking a dive, King James trying to draw a foul after no contact. They moan about the stewards and yet it's the first card they play. I still look at the Leclerc/Verstappen incident in 2019 exactly the way I did then. Max had the inside and took the line away from Leclerc who had no business going off track except trying to get a penalty. We did not use to have these problems before because F1 drivers were expected to know how to execute a pass. It all started with Lewis dive bombing passes. Something was not acceptable for anyone else in the past. But this shit racing got cheered and then degraded into amateurish crash shows with newer drivers. I dont disagree with current rules. Its just a 5 sec penalty, not a ban or a drive through. A faster driver should be able to recover that time over a race. I prefer it over the previous race ruinning dive bombs, to be honest. Drivers should take their 5 seconds for being stupid and stop bitching.

The passer should be awarded the 5 second penalty - you know going into the pass that if you haven't cleared the passee by the apex you are either going to hit the passee or run out of roadway. You can make outside passes on slower (lapped) cars with little difficulty - outside passes on competitive cars are a incident - either contact or running off track guaranteed.

So many YouTube videos could be about 90% shorter and retain all the important content!

The current F1 rules are designed to create parades - not races.

Alonso still bagged a point, Max won, Hamilton sucked and the Aston Martin ended up in the gravel. Nature is healing.

Stewards were consistent - consistently wrong! Sorry, the stewards made the proper judgements based on the RULES. Read the rules.

Pass on the outside at YOUR OWN RISK, fail and YOU should be penalized. Why weren't Perez and LeClerc penalized for exceeding track limits - if in fact, 'Rules are Rules'.

That is your option and has nothing to do with the proper judicator of the the rules as written. Your exceeding track limits diversion is a crock. If someone is forced off track the rules say they can't be penalized for exceeding track limits. Read the rules.

Real Track Limits must be respected. Painted lines are laughed at.

Real Track Limits must be respected. Painted lines are laughed at. Unfortunately "real track limits" leads to parades like most of the "walled" and thru the cities tracks, I'm not worried about "real track limits" I'm worried that at each track the rules are different. Pick one...on the red is okay but off them is bad or 4 wheels over the white line is bad anything else is okay.
