Sure, so he provided feedback and pushed it back up the order. Amazing that. He understands how important the skill of the driver is. How do you know Lewis gave feedback that improved the car? All he said on the radio was that there was "something wrong with the car", nothing more. The engineers may have simply looked at the data and made setup changes without consulting Lewis. Or maybe the test driver back at the factory in England overnight tried dozens of other setups the engineers put into the car on the simulator until the pace improved. Again never consulting Lewis. whatever they did they didn't do it till qualifying. Lulu was nearly a second off the pace in P3. And bottax was 7/10ths off the pace. They can't use the party mode thing anymore. The engine mode for the race is set during qualifying. (and during practice?) My guess is they pushed whichever mode they're using to it's limit to claw back some of the P3 deficit. We've got 20 plus races this year. This is race #7. This is already the 2nd race on their 2nd engine. And they only get 3 for the year. We'll prolly see this scenario again and again. They'll be off the pace until Q3 when they have to run it at full power to try to keep up with Maxie.

^ Yeah that car is draggy as hell, Brundel was going on about bottas hitting 205 mph going into the Singe corner while the tracker was showing 189.

Speaking of draggy. The skyboys were babbling after Tsunoda spun about how the box locked up. The rear wheels weren't turning as he slid backwards but neither were the fronts. Unless it's 4wd he was hard on the brakes. As far as Tsunoda he gave the most clueless interview ever about it.

again on the pre race show the talking heads keep talking about lulu's superior race pace this weekend. but, in P2 after the long runs, maxie was faster then lulu. I don't get it. :-)

The Brits are relentless homers. I tried to find out about long runs in P3 and didn't read anything on the web. On motorsport.com they talk about long run pace in P2. Could be I missed something but the talking heads being homers is prolly correct
