They will probably get an exemption because he will fly his private jet not 'economy class' like the rest of us. On the other hand there is nothing left for him to win so he may just say 'rules is rules' and sit out the rest of the season and start his vacay early. I'm hoping he goes on vacation early and give George a couple runs in the Merc. Russell's performance might have something to do with if he races the last race. If George does terrible Lewis might want to get back ASAP to help the team. If George does great he will also want to get back for the last race since he wouldn't want someone to show him up. |

LOL e-hugs for everyone! COVID sucks so much. I had a dream/nightmare as some of you may remember I went to the Montreal Grand Prix back in 2017. In my dream, we were back at the fancy F1 party at the Ritz Carleton with the red carpet and I was like no COVID has banned red carpet and parties. Then I woke up simultaneously laughing and crying.

You have Covid? I'm very sorry to hear that I hope you get thru this too and can get back to going to F1 races again soon!!! So far my family has been lucky, my 4 year old grandson did get the qtip up to his brain, in BOTH nostrils, tested but it came back negative. He had a fever and pre-school refused to accept him without a negative Covid test, the Dr also gave him an antibiotic for a Strep throat, but he was the ONLY one who was even suspected so far. His dad, my oldest son, gets tested periodicially at work because they can but they use the short qtip and they know the results within a couple of hours. He works for BASF as a PHD Chemist and does stuff beyond my understanding. |

So far money hasn't been a problem for MB. If George goes out and dominates Lewis will want to get him out of the car quickly as would any driver in Lewis' current position. No driver wants another in his seat going faster than him. |

No driver wants another in his seat going faster than him. I agree with this, but not what you first wrote. If Russell does win the Mercedes is so much faster than the field Bottas has the best odds. |
