don't they have a contract where they're getting the merc drivetrain next year? Yes. Mercedes power next year. No doubt that is a positive factor. But still, a lot of things would have to happen for Seb to end up there.
1) He would have to either quit or be canned by Ferrari. 2) Either Carlos or Lando would have to quit or be canned by McLaren. I don't know their contract status and I think they are both well regarded by the team.
3) He doesn't get an offer by a better team (and I don't think he will). 4) He gets an offer from McLaren and makes the deal, or vice versa.
So several dominoes have to fall just right for it to happen. At least that's how I see it.

Reality? What they hell is that? Going to Popeyes for a chicken sandwich and having to use the drive-through on my bicycle to get it.

Reality? What they hell is that? Going to Popeyes for a chicken sandwich and having to use the drive-through on my bicycle to get it. The NYC metro area is almost in full lockdown. It has only been four days and I am going stir crazy already. I am usually out in the field checking on projects multiple times daily. My wife has gone full recluse. She keeps asking me to not leave the house at all. God help me.

The sad reality is that countries where it is out of control will get over it faster, and those of us with flat curves will have it around longer. The strategy behind the flat curve is to prevent an overload of the healthcare system (ICU beds and ventilators). Social distancing and hand washing could also result in a flat and short curve like South Korea seems to have. wewillsee!

Sure, I have replace some floor boards and re-stained the deck, replaced the shower valve/mixer, repair/replaced some dry rot on the entryway trellis......it's going to be never ending. I am so screwed.

I tried that at McDonalds and they said it wasn't heavy enough to cause it to let them know I was there and they would NOT take my order at the window, there were no other options so I left.

I am so screwed. Yeah I am too. My wife is very high energy, a bit ADHD, and now she's gonna be home from work as she's a school teacher. She's gonna find all kinds of shit to do. The good part is that she'll actually just do a lot of it herself. I'll try to keep busy in the yard and with the cars. I'd much rather do that stuff than any work inside. On a not-too-related COVID 19 note, I went to the grocery store yesterday & things seemed to be calming down somewhat. Certain items still in short supply. I grabbed 5 bananas on the way into the store. There were plenty of them. Then when I got home I noticed they weren't there. I checked my receipt. No bananas. Some motherfucker had taken the bananas off my shopping cart rather than just going and getting some of their own. Unreal. Some people fucking disgust me. And on that note ... the people doing all the panic shopping are creating the very problem they fear the most. Just fucking shop normally, and there won't even be a problem. /rant

I tried that at McDonalds and they said it wasn't heavy enough to cause it to let them know I was there and they would NOT take my order at the window, there were no other options so I left. Yeah, when I pulled up at the front a guy inside motioned me around to the driver-through. I pointed to my bike and he nodded yes. I couldn't trip the sensor at the order station either so I rode around to the window and a different guy took care of me, no problem. We laughed about what a bunch of crazy shit this is and I had the feeling he was just glad to be working.
Tourism is the biggest industry here in Key West and it is nearly dead now. Anybody who works in a bar, restaurant, hotel, water sports business, etc, is working very little if at all. I don't, but some of my customers do and it will probably trickle down to me sooner or later. But I'm a saver and could get by for a few years pretty easily. Hopefully it won't last that long.

Here in Santa Barbara, CA. there have been only one or two confirmed cases but, we are in self-isolation mode out of an abundance of caution by our County Government. I don't mind too much as I have been socially challenged for most of my life. I like machines and animals more than most people. I have been taking short walks around my neighborhood and I actually like the relatively deserted streets.

Luckily i don't have a honey to tell me what to do (although my customers and the voices in my head more than take up the slack) but i'min Home Depot and (or) Loews several times a week. Just got back from both and the panic buyers have had their way in the cleaning aisle, well the dim ones that is. They've cleaned out all of the bleach yet left a half dozen other products just as capable of killing viruses untouched.

I am in a County in PA that has just had our first case. My wife and I are both teachers. She is home and doing nothing but eating bon-bons on the couch. I am still teaching, Chemistry isn't the easiest thing to teach virtually, but I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve, but I need to be online and available for my students from 9am - 2am. My wife has to do nothing, but I am thankful that we still are getting paid and I really feel for those people that are out of work.
Both my kids are doing online learning and they are getting a lot more work than normal. Our prinicipal has told us to back off in the amount of work we are assigning.

After getting my order, my cart was gone, I only had 3 or 4 items in it, guess some one wanted them more than I did at that moment in time. I just went back and got my prior items and continued.
