Actually Jordan made 3 predictions for 2021. McLaren would get Mercedes power, Verstappen would go to McLaren, and Hamilton would move to Ferrari. One down for Eddie. Without the Team that Hamilton has behind him Max could end up like Alonso and chasing Championships but not winning any. I don't see Lewis leaving unless Mercedes quits, or drastically cuts back meaning they won't have the money for Max, as Lewis wants to pass MSchumacher in total WDC's, not tie but pass.

They have proven their superiority. Why keep spending?

Mercedes of course is leaving after 2020 and Honda will do the same after 2021 so where is there for a Hammy to go? Honda may leave after 2020 also. And Renault hasn't committed either. F1 is on thin ice right now, imho. Should never have committed to this stupidly expensive, complex PU era.

If Mercedes leaves then I would think the drivers salaries would drop from then on too, fewer top level Teams means fewer spots available. And NO a current mid level Team moving up does NOT count, they need to prove they can win and are not just there by default. If I win because you dropped out it still doesn't mean I'm worth a damn!!

Ferrari driver rumors.....................................everybody seems to have forgotten that it's all about Max. Yep, Hamilton getting too old but, with Max and Chuck, the future would be super bright or toxic explosive š¤£ depending how one wanted to look at it. F1 might actually be entertaining again with that lineup alone.

Ferrari (with Marlboro money) will still pay, Red Bull (with drinks money) will still pay, and believe it or not McLaren with their Bahraini owners (Mumtalakat) will pony up the petro dollars. The Mercedes situation is more one of internal politics than anything else.

One of the links above had a link in it to a major Ferrari guy saying Max is "too young", I'm guessing they don't want two up and coming type A guys fighting each other. One would think Vettel would be less likely to do that but it isn't turning out that way with Charles and he, although if Ferrari had looked at Red Bull history they could have forseen this as Vettel did the same thing with Webber!! Including the part where he refused to honor Team Orders!! Lewis and Bottas fight for position but not to the point of taking each other out, they understand advantage and their cars and position in the race, Vettel seems to be blinded by trying to be ahead no matter what, that's not a bad thing in most cases but with a teammate in a team sport it's not good.

Ferrari is dumb then and deserves to swim in mediocrity. Max has won like 7 races and is only 21? LeClerc won 2 and is 20? Hell, that is ticket right there. I would jump at the chance to sign those two to my team. See, how has it worked with Ferrari lately? How many titles did Alonso deliver them? How about Vettel and Kimi (second time around)? Would Hamilton really bring anything much different to the table at this point? Ferrari's logic and thinking about everything is seriously flawed at the moment.

There's something that none of these pundits seem to be addressing. That is if Hamilton goes to Ferrari, it could precipitate the tragic death of thousands of Tifosi as their heads explode.

Max and Leclerc on the same team would be more of a shitshow than Prost/Senna or Hamilton/Alonzo. Great for entertainment, extremely bad for whatever team attempting it.

There's something that none of these pundits seem to be addressing. That is if Hamilton goes to Ferrari, it could precipitate the tragic death of thousands of Tifosi as their heads explode. What this post shows is a lack of understanding how the tifosi think. We like Enzo like to think of the drivers as simple meatpuppets that direct the car down the track. If a driver comes to Ferrari his past is just that, in the past. Look at the people that have come to Ferrari after being hated. It is a long list. Alonso is one, Prost, Lauda, it goes on and on. But once a driver has brought glory to the team we tifosi will love that driver forever more. Jean Alesi, no championships, but he did get a win, and so we still love him. Gehard Berger, same deal.
If Hamilton comes to Ferrari and wins we will embrace him and bring him into the fold. If he does not win we may turn on him like a pack of wolves.

I read a quick article from Spain that said it would not be just Hamilton coming to Ferrari but Toto Wolff as well. Would Ferrari hire him? They did have Todt for a long time. Interesting rumor to be sure.

Don't forget Piquet/Mansel, Jones/Reuteman, Villeneuve/Pironi or Lulu/Brittney, history shows top dogs don't play well together. And I don't see a team principal on the grid today with the balls to stop a dog fight from breaking out.
