So the remaining question is whether Bottas gets dumped and Vettel goes to Mercedes. I think that is very possible. Hamilton's ego has to be telling him that he is faster than Vettel and beating him as a teammate would cement his place in history. Vettel probably feels the same way. They actually seem like friends to some extent, so it could work. I would like to see it happen.

I don't see why Vettel would quit Ferrari otherwise, unless he really intends to retire. Re: Alonso to Renault, I do think it might happen, but it's apparently not done yet. |

I think Lulu would easily have the early lead since he's been in the car for several years while Seb has been in a car that just works differently, but assuming the Mercedes is to Seb's driving style he should close some of the gap fairly quickly. I think alot of the difference will be with Engineers each has, I don't see Mercedes hiring, or Ferrari letting go of, Seb's current guy so Seb will have to make a new relationship and develop the trust he has had issues with at Ferrari. I also see a Seb Webber relationship developing as both Seb and Lulu think they are #1 and fight each other for it. That could be good for thefans but probably not so good for Mercedes and it's Championship hopes. Danny Ric has said he's a nice guy out of the car but once in the car the visor comes down and the gloves come off, I see the same thing from Seb and Lulu. |

A random thought occurred to me: Does anyone know the current financial status of Kimoa? I'm not sure how to look up a foreign-based entity. How big of a hit, if any, did Kimoa take when ALO left F1? Could his "comeback" have anything to do with propping Kimoa up through merch sales? Random thoughts...
