Lando Norris signs a multi-year deal with McLaren starting in 2019. Stoffel the Belgian Waffle is out.

I think Mercedes can get him the seat at Williams for a year if they discount the engines. Or tell Bottas that he is going back to Williams and give Ocon the seat.

I think the first part covers next year, and the latter 2020. Bottas will never lead the silver team.

I think Kubica is going to be the loser here, Toto and Claire will get together and hammer out something (like free gearboxes or rear suspension) that'll ease William's money problems and keep Ocon under Merc's thumb.

Williams said recently that they will continue making their own boxes. As far as money they'll still get cash for letting the Strolls go away. When it comes to telling manufacturers to piss off few teams have done it as often as Williams.
Ocon will hopefully wind up at Williams to if nothing else keep them from the Russian gambit.

Sitting out a year brings nothing in the way of guarantees. In two years all the good rides are probably locked up already so what choices does he have?
