I love how you ignore every shred of logic and anything supportable, ignore basic questions, repeat the same old weak line over and over, make unsupportable claims and present them as fact ... and then accuse me of weaving an alternate universe on top of it all. Good stuff! None of my claims are unsupported because I am not claiming anything. I am sticking to the actual facts. Open seats available at top teams, Alonso not occupying any of them. That is the reality of the situation. Oh, so that wasn't you claiming that nobody made an offer to Alonso? Sorry. I must have confused you with someone else.

What is sad is the number of drivers who have scored podiums. Some of names would blow your mind. Tiago Montiero. Gianni Morbidelli. Yes, those two guys scored a podium. Lance Stroll has a podium for God sakes. You would think Hulk would luck into one eventually. Pastor says hello, from the top step, no less. And didn't Gasly have a podium last year, or am I misremembering? And Kvyat this year... It's crazy, and I do believe it's mostly bad luck for Hulk. IMHO he's very good. Kvyat podiumed with Red Bull as well, Don't forget Peraz and Sato while we're at it. I agree that Hulk isn't the driver his record makes him out to (i rate him higher than Grosjean) be but that's all everybody is going to see. My guess is his future at Renault depends on whether they can get Ocon free and clear from Merc, if not they'll probably just offer him one year extensions until they find a suitable replacement.

Wasn't Pastor's win his only F1 podium?

GTF outta here with that shit. You can't be serious.

I am commenting specifically on this current rumor. As I wrote several times and several posts ago, you can think whatever you want, but this is not a "claim", it is reality. RedBull has made no offer to Alonso. If they had he would be a the RB factory getting a seating fitted as we speak. Accepting that is up to you.

Well he has proved beyond any doubt that he is not capable of winning in F1. What is sad is the number of drivers who have scored podiums. Some of names would blow your mind. Tiago Montiero. Gianni Morbidelli. Yes, those two guys scored a podium. Lance Stroll has a podium for God sakes. You would think Hulk would luck into one eventually. Tiago's lone podium was a thing of beauty. I'm so glad I got to witness it in person. Michael and Rubens lifted him up on their shoulders for the crowd.

You only had to beat your teammate and two Minardis.

If they had he would be a the RB factory getting a seating fitted as we speak. Accepting that is up to you. I know that's what you're talking about. That doesn't change a thing. You don't get that in this case Fact A + Fact B =/= 'Fact' C. You seem to be having a bit of trouble with what 'reality' means. Alonso not being on RBR's roster doesn't prove that there was or was not an offer made. Taking your own personal biases out of it, all it means is that either there was no offer or there was an offer and no agreement was reached. It very well could be that there was no offer made. It could also be that an offer was made and no agreement was reached. The fact of the matter is that neither of us knows which of those is true. Accepting a mid-season offer from RBR really doesn't make much sense for Alonso or any other top driver, unless Max were leaving after the season, which does not seem to be the case. Even aside from that, even if there was an offer, there are myriad other reasons on either side of the table why a deal may not have been possible ... one of the most obvious of which is that Alonso still drives for Toyota. Of course you can believe anything you want, but trying to pass it off as some kind of exercise in 'facts' and 'reality', and then lobbing silly accusations at me for disagreeing with you and pointing out the disconnect ... just isn't working.

^That sounds good for the most part. But while they're at it, Haas should go ahead and clean house.
Not sure who they could get to replace Kmags though. Baby Herta would be cool, but he's not ready in several ways.

When only three teams have any chance of success it makes complete sense.
Sometimes I wonder why the other six teams (plus Haas) bother showing up. It's gotta suck being totally irrelevant.
