Bener didn't get it done in 2018 so they axed him and put in Bino for 2019 This is the standings after Baku GP '18 & '19 2018 1 Scuderia Ferrari 114 2 Mercedes AMG Petronas 111
2019 1 Mercedes AMG Petronas 173 2 Scuderia Ferrari 99
What's Flavio up to these days? Side questions: Is Willy Webber still alive? <How did MSM know I used to own Volvos? Discuss.

Looks like time for Ferrari to start working on the 2020 car.

Looks like time for Ferrari to start working on the 2020 car. Yup. Surprised Ferrari haven't integrated the satellite teams more with update work. I guess they just Don't Think that way. or Maybe they are trying...

When reading Ferrari's management structure realignment I'm not seeing any practical germans, calm englishmen, or reassuring asians. All I'm seeing is hotheaded type names.

Yeah that's kinda what I'm wondering too. On Instagram yesterday, someone asked Fernando what will happen after Le Mans. He responded "A lot of physical preparation for the next season, and another 8 races this year..." Off the top of my head: There are 8 IndyCar races after Le Mans ... The last 8 F1 races begin with Monza ... There are 8 V8 Supercars races after Le Mans ... Just as significant as the bit about 8 races this year, imho, is the bit about lots of physical preparation for the next season, suggesting he's doing a full season with someone next year, imho. He's already made comments just a couple of days ago that seem to indicate he won't do a full IndyCar season next year.....

Ferrari in full Italian control has generally been considered a Chinese fire drill. It has taken the Germans and English to bring direction to the Italian passion.

You forgot one little French guy. A very important little French guy. You always have to throw a frog in the pot - for flavor if nothing else!

There are 8 V8 Supercars races after Le Mans ... Sorry man, but that one really cracked me up.

It's just that if he can't be bothered running a whole IndyCar season it's hard to imagine him doing it in V8 Supercars. (Probably my favorite racing series, BTW.)
Bathurst? Sure, why not.

How many "hotheaded type names" are management of Redbull, McLaren, Renault and especially Williams? These 4 range from complete failures to just underperforming. I'm surprised Ferrari has any Italians available to them with these other teams filled with them. It's Italians that cause the problems and lack of success in F1 right?

Bathurst? Sure, why not. Right. I was just throwing those out there. I don't think it'll be 8 races in one series, either. What's more interesting to me is what he says about 'getting ready for the next season', when he's already said it won't be in IndyCar or WEC.
