Really looking forward to this year's race...I hope I don't have to work in the office this weekend. I have an impending deadline...hopefully I can keep up with the schedule..
I know at least two of my flagger buddies from the Glen will be working, pretty sure there will be more...some day..

Nice to see racing back, but OMG the remote is getting a workout. Every time that fucking Leigh 'Screech' Diffey comes on I have to Mute or skip past it.

Jarvis breaks lap record in Joest Mazda. 1:33.685. Breaking the 26 year old record of PJ Jones in the AAR MarkIII Toyota Eagle #98. Quite a long time for that record to stand.

That's because NASCAR dumbed down sports car racing after that year.

That's because NASCAR dumbed down sports car racing after that year. Right. Had nothing to do with PJ driving the fastest and most dominant GTP in history. So fast that it killed the class. The only reason they broke it this year is the Michelins are a LOT faster than the Continentals they'd been using for the last 5 years. AND these new Michelins are no doubt a LOT faster than the Goodyears available in 1993. Justin Gurney of AAR is considering challenging Mazda to a one day test-off with the 98 using Michelins. I bet the 98 could reach the 1:29s (or better) with those tires. Justin's younger brother Alex (2 time 24 hr pole sitter with Gainsco) is willing to do the driving

Nissan and Jaguar took their cars and went home after getting their asses kicked in '92. Pussies.
