Apparently, other "non-Ferrari" cars will be added as filler.

Katherine Legge stays with Hardpoint in IMSAHardpoint announced its Daytona 24H line up, which includes racing star Katherine Legge; the Brit will in fact remain with the team for the 2022 IMSA season alongside driver/owner Rob Ferriol in the #99 Porsche 911 GT3 R.Katherine Legge will remain in IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship in 2022, as Hardpoint confirmed its drivers line up on Monday. At the wheel of the #99 GridRival Porsche 911 GT3 R will be driver/owner Rob Ferriol and Katherine Legge once again, and they will be joined by Stefan Wilson and Nick Boulle for the upcoming 24 Hours of Daytona. Hardpoint was founded in 2018 by racing driver and entrepreneur Rob Ferriol and the team entered its first full IMSA championship in 2021. After Daytona, Hardpoint became a two-car operation and ran a fully-female crew at Sebring: Katherine Legge raced alongside two-time IMSA champion Christina Nielsen and Bia Figueiredo, who returned to racing after giving birth to her first child. Unfortunately, sponsor-related challenges meant that the team returned to a single-car for the remainder of the IMSA season, which was contested by Legge and Ferriol in the GTD class. Legge secured nine Top-10 finishes in 2021, with a fifth place at Sebring as the highlight of the season. In the second half of the year, though, the drivers of the #88 Porsche were particularly consistent and Legge completed the season in eighth place, just ahead of Ferriol – who earned IMSA’s Bob Akin Award in 2021 for the championship’s top Bronze-rated driver. www.racers-behindthehelmet.com/post/katherine-legge-stays-with-hardpoint-in-2022-imsa?fbclid=IwAR0kGcSaE6ewQda3ASwxFdtjol_IEPGOa2mgQlJHw4An_IYEcT0hJIBLAmA

Ford Is Taking the Mustang GT3 RacingA pair of factory-backed Mustangs will run in the full 2024 IMSA season. For the past few months, the rumor in the sports car racing world was that the next iteration of Corvette C8.R would be getting a high-profile cross-town rival in 2024. Today, Ford has confirmed it: The Mustang is joining both GT3 racing and IMSA's GTD Pro class in two years. Ford will partner with Multimatic to both build and race the cars. If that name sounds familiar, you may recognize it from its part in building both the current Ford GT road car and the GTE-class race car that ran from 2016 to 2019. Multimatic is most famous as a constructor of racing cars, like the upcoming Porsche and Audi LMDh racers that will fight for overall wins at Le Mans, but it has also run full racing programs like the European Ford GT and American Mazda DPi operations. Its latest venture will be a two-car factory GT program for Ford, something like the Mustang's answer to the famous yellow-and-black factory cars of Corvette Racing. Starting with tomorrow's Rolex 24, IMSA has replaced its long-time GTLM category with a GT3-based class called GTD Pro. Any team hoping to compete in it has to conform to a global GT3 ruleset, one that traditionally requires companies to build at least 30 total cars and offer many of those for sale to private customers. Ford will be no exception, with customer Mustang GT3s available when the car debuts with its factory operation in 2024. www.roadandtrack.com/news/a38923564/ford-is-taking-the-mustang-gt3-racing/?source=nl&utm_source=nl_rdt&utm_medium=email&date=012822&utm_campaign=nl26419910&utm_term=AAA%20--%20High%20Minus%20Dormant%20and%2090%20Day%20Non%20Openers

It seems that Peugeot will miss Le Mans and probably the rest of the 2022 WEC season due to design issues with the 90X.
