Looking at the posted TV schedule it shows the event being Friday through Sunday.
I thought Monaco was normally Thursday for Practice and Saturday & Sunday for Qualifying & Race.

Returning from Kansas - despite a single year change - decades of following the Thursday-Saturday-Sunday create old 'habits'

But early in the AM and not a rebroadcast?!! ^^ Some of us are old enough to remember when there was one F1 race on the tube each year. This is b-4 cable tv. That race was Monaco. ABC wide world of sports. Sunday morning on Memorial weekend. When did they change the monaco GP from 40 days after easter to memorial weekend?

The UK celebrates "Remembrance Day" but that is in November. (Ending of WWI) So Monaco has been the last weekend of May in most recent years. Before that it was the first weekend in June. When I had season tickets for the Dover NASCAR race I used to sit in the fan zone and watch Monaco on the big screen. That was a lot of fun. So the change had to happen sometime in the last 20 years or so.

^^ When they used to race on Monaco the weekend after the ascension, the catholic thing, that it landed on or near memorial weekend. In 65 when Clark won the 500 he didn't race at monaco that year as he was in the states for the indy 500.

Remember WWoS had several four or five minute segments on the race which I think Phil Hill won in the 1.5L Ferrari shark nose car.

Moss in the Lotus 18 - first WDC win for a Lotus. Second was a charging Ginther in a sharknose, Phil Hill 3rd.

In 65 when Clark won the 500 he didn't race at monaco that year as he was in the states for the indy 500. Easy choice. Indy paid the winning team $628K of which Clark took $128K. For the full F1 season (10 races) Clark's 9 races brought $37k.

I like this, I wonder if it's a nod to the Andretti Team trying to be a part of F1?
