On the F1 app, during FP2, I turned over to the Sky F1 (aka, international broadcast)... You know, Crofty and company.
In the span of 5 minutes, Mercedes, Hamilton and Wolf were mentioned 50 times (or so it seemed). I switched back. I don't have the mental fortitude to put up with these idiots.

Pretty much all the brits, and I'm not being racist here at all, are hoping / praying that there beloved mercs can catchup. Having said that, a few, after talking about hopes / dreams have their feet planted on the ground. Jensen for one. And Peter what's his name. Oh he still talks a lot about Lulu and George but lately he's been a realist. He mentions often that the bulls have the best package and Max is at the top of his game. A couple more things. The clip I posted yesterday. The espn F1 show. The one gal, Naomi, Had a very reveling outfit on. My blood pressure blew up. :-) And starting this year F1 has taken over the tv broadcast. The visuals are stunning. The race may be boring but nothing in racing looks like Monaco. |

also, on last nights show they went on some ones yacht. a multi million dollar thing. Next to it was Flavio's boat. A giant thing. :-)

Red Bull is so darn fast that even Max hitting all the walls still got pole...LOL

Red Bull is so darn fast that even Max hitting all the walls still got pole...LOL well, he didn't hit the wall. it looked like he rubbed the wall to me. ya could see it when he checked the white paint on his front tire. :-) How did Mario say it. ya get your fastest lap when ya rub the wall. :-) he made up 3/10ths in the last shortest sector. WTF! |

I know it is favorable here to bash Hamilton, but here he is taking responsibility for a decision that slowed the car down a bit. “P1 to P2 was good. P2 to P3, I think was good, but we then made a change into P3, which didn’t feel as good, but it was faster in the middle sector, but slower in the first and last. So the car just felt like a real handful and just to switch on the tyres, I really struggled with – and that was the first time in this session. “ We know why, and it was a decision that I had taken against everyone’s judgement. Cracking lap from Ocon. I thought qualifying was pretty fun today. Probably will be better than the race! :-)

If he is still in third after T1, I predict an Ocon train. I imagine Ferrari and Merc are considering tire/pit strategies based on that possibility. |
