LeClerc had a contract thru 2024 but has been rumored by the French to have signed an extension with Ferrari. sportune.20minutes.fr/sport-business/f1/formule-1/f1-charles-leclerc-prolonge-par-ferrari-avec-un-salaire-record-311753" Charles Leclerc reportedly renewed his contract with Scuderia Ferrari . In detail, it is a firm 2025-2026 agreement and 2027-2028-2029 in the form of options. For some time now, the Monegasque driver's entourage has been probing the paddock. Discussions with Mercedes, Aston Martin, Alpine and even Red Bull have taken place. The German manufacturer's option was the most serious, in the event of a replacement for Lewis Hamilton, Toto Wolff believes that Charles Leclerc is a good candidate to face Max Verstappen in the future. This is what the whole paddock thinks. His current contract expiring in 2024, the pilot had already had a certain largesse this year. Mattia Binotto, before his ousting and to compensate for the terrible second half of the season at Scuderia Ferrari, had agreed to anticipate his driver's remuneration schedule. Clearly, Leclerc receives in 2023, what he was to receive in 2024, i.e. 20 million euros , according to our Business Book GP partner . Thus indicating the basic value of a future contract and above all the beginning of an anticipation of discussions. A contract that was quickly negotiated to be finally accepted in recent weeks. A 5-year contract extension would have been concluded between the two parties. On the Monegasque side, the ambition is to see the market come by 2026. On the Scuderia side, securing its spearhead and a motivation to keep it in the long term. The second part of the contract in the form of an option will, in the form of performance clauses, release Charles Leclerc from his Ferrari contract each season. Remuneration remains. Early rumors point to a contract total of over 185 million euros ($220 million) and compensation that could reach 50 million euros in the final year."

formu1a.uno/en/f1-news-yuki-tsunoda-likely-to-sign-new-contract-with-alphatauri/Yuki Tsunoda is well-placed to sign a contract extension with AlphaTauri, having strung together an impressive campaign with the Faenza-based team. The Japanese driver has taken a notable step forward in 2023, changing the narrative after facing more critical F1 news stories as a rookie. Raw speed has never been in doubt for Tsunoda, whose electric debut season in Formula 2 earned him an instant promotion. However, a tendency to make mistakes soon became an issue for the youngster. With Red Bull notoriously ruthless with their young drivers, this aspect of his driving needed to be addressed. Fast-forward to halfway through his third F1 season, and there has been a clear step forward.

Alex Palou is rumored at both Williams and Alpha Tauri after turning down McLaren Indycar. Sept 10 is the last Indy race and his present contract with Ganassi gives CGR exclusivity in talks until Sept 1.

Some are reporting that Marko also said that it was likely but not final. When I look at the language that Haupt uses all it says is that Perez will stay with Red Bull it doesn't say he will be driving.
Meh...............I still expect him in the seat and Marko to undergo senilitiy competency testing.

I think Red Bull should just make the second seat a challenger seat and rotate drivers through it.

^ Any driver that can keep up with Max will want to win, and we KNOW how well Horner and The Evil One handles that.
