Peter what's his name has a pretty good race analysis. Check it out. Ferrari had a race winning car. But the home work Max & Checo did on the mefium and the hard tires on Saturday in the P3 session payed off big time. Does he mention they are cheating.

Red Bull has had the better front end so far and it appears that the pullrod setup is working for them. Ferrari simply didn't have the car and won't unless they get on the update wagon. If I had to choose...............Max>Chuck............RB>Ferrari.

Thought the Guitar Hotel would have made a more iconic backdrop for the event than the stadium. You are not wrong, but I believe the Casino and Hotel are actually on Tribal land, so there are obvious tax revenue implications that go along with that.

I understand the Seminole Tribe still hasn't signed a Peace Treaty with the USA.

I can agree to revising the chicane and adding a barrier other than Jersey Wall. What is their specific complaint about the track surface? Too slick? Too abrasive? Breaking up? Just saying 'it isn't F1 standard' says nothing at all. My main complaint is the lack of Emergency Services access to the track and the time they are taking to clean up issues as well as not having a road system to return damaged vehicles to their pits while the sessions are under way - issues that SHOULD NOT require the Red Flags that flew in the practice sessions.

The whole event was rushed as far as i'm concerned. Liberty wanted it to run THIS YEAR and looked the other way on a bunch of things.

www.racefans.net/2022/05/11/miami-grand-prix-draws-f1s-largest-live-us-television-audience/Sunday’s Miami Grand Prix drew the largest audience for a live Formula 1 race broadcast in the USA. Formula 1’s regular broadcaster in the US is ESPN but parent network ABC took on the Miami Grand Prix broadcast, boosting viewership. An average live audience of 2.6 million people watched the coverage. Qualifying and practice were broadcast on ESPN. Qualifying drawing 953,000 viewers and the first practice session on the new Miami International Autodrome attracted 398,000. These were the largest qualifying and practice audiences since F1 returned to being broadcast on ESPN in 2018. F1’s figures compared favourably with those for NASCAR, America’s most popular form of motorsport, which held its Darlington 400 on the same day, drawing an audience of 2.614 million.

How many were the same people watching both events. While I am not among those who are measured for the ratings. I watched the entire GP and most of the after event festivities and then switched over to Darlington.

Just another gimmick.

Not being on the air at oh dark thirty in the US and not having the NFL to compete with meant alot of eyes looking for some kinda sports to watch besides basketball, add in all the people streaming these days but not willing to 'pay' for all the apps alot of channels are using means over the air free tv and CBS gets alot of eyes!!
