The damage to the MSC tub, from my view point, needs more attention than a team away from its base of manufacturing can PROPERLY repair on the road.

It sounded like as much as the tub was that the car was a total write off and they simply do not have the time or the parts.

A far cry from the days when teams had a fully built up spare car and when there was a 1st lap incident that seriously damaged or destroyed one car the driver would sprint back to the paddock on foot to get strapped into the spare car.
