Lewis is still the GOAT for luck. Both bulls take a dump in the last couple laps and he gets on the podium. But he was there. Funny how anyone can say he is the GOAT for luck when he lost the WDC last year because he was unlucky.

How many Engineers did Red Bull Powertrain Engineering "steal" from Mercedes? What did that get them? Three engine failures? Granted, Horner said Gasly's failure WAS NOT related to what happened to the Red Bulls. I have to moderate my sarcastic question though by saying this: Didn't Red Bull run the second most laps in testing behind Ferrari? I don't remember the actual lap counter....(nope, 3rd highest: motorsportsmayhem.freeforums.net/post/103572/thread). So, the Mercedes Powerplant is definitely down on power. Does anyone think it has anything to do with the type of fuel used this year (per the British announcers?) I don't think it's that. I think it's how that power is applied.

Oracle Red Bull Racing @redbullracing "A tough result to take. We need to do a full investigation, but it looks like both Bulls suffered from a suspected fuel pump issue."

I bet they didn't treat the fuel with any ethanol fuel stabilizer and it ate the rubber in the pump, what a rookie lawn maintenance mistake....

Some people are saying that there are problems related to temperature and moving the new fuel around in the tank when it gets low. Teams discovered the issues when doing race sims in testing. Red Bull never did a race sim.

The cars were fine but the tires not so much, and when you think of how Pirelli went conservative the compound choice.

Hamilton wasn't unlucky in Abu Dhabi, he had a bad strategy. He wasn't lucky today; he had a good strategy. Hamilton was lucky and fortunate today to have gotten a podium position.

Except they apparently did not 'blow up'. Yes; "stop" is appropriate. I was simplifying. Over exaggerating. Way over exaggerating.

If there were 10 more laps both Ferraris would have DNF for some unknown reason and Lulu won the race.
Yes, he is that lucky

Yes; "stop" is appropriate. I was simplifying. Over exaggerating. Way over exaggerating. Functionally there is no difference. They stopped working. Both of them just a couple of laps apart. Blow up. Shut off. Stop working. Functionally it is the same as they ended up out of the race.

We are getting tired of reading this shit over and over and over.
