I went go-karting last week. One of the cars in front of me slowed on the straight. I passed him. Too bad you didnt crash into him so he would get a 10 second penalty

Talking heads commented on the 'countless' laps deleted for 'exceeding track limits'. BS

Predicted scenarios and probable outcomes:
1. Max and Lewis crash out. No matter the situation Max will be penalized and points taken away Lewis gets the championship.
2. Max and Lewis make contact and Lewis crashes. Max will be penalized and Lewis wins the Championship.
3. Max and Lewis make contact, Max crashes. Lewis wins the championship.
4. Max wins race, no contact with Lewis Lewis finishes 2nd to Max. Max wins Championship.
The only way Max can win is a clean race with no contact and finishing higher than Lewis. Masi will not let Max win the Championship in any other way.

Were he to win pole (he won't) and lead through the pit stop cycle, he's absolutely getting enough time penalties to be dropped to 2nd. This championship was decided long before we got to Abu Dhabi. Loooooong before.

I am guessing that many of you think 9/11 was staged, too.... ;-)
Can we take a moment to appreciate what a good job Ocon has done this season? He's not a rookie but even after Alonso got up to speed, Ocon has had some good races and qualifying. And Gasly has continued to impress as well. Sainz has made Leclerc look human, though I would still guess that long term, Leclerc will have more upside.
Would we all agree that F1 would be better with Mazepin's money but no Mazepin?

I know you think you were being funny, but I was working less than 4 miles from the Pentagon on 9/11. We heard the plane crash. Not funny.
You have to have Lewis fanboi blinders on to not be able to see that the FIA has had the want for Lewis to win the Championship and be that mush more "special". That Silverstone non-penalty was only the start. To be penalized when ordered to give a place back, have the guy hit you when you slow and then you get penalized for it? Frigging insane. 2.4 g's!!! B.S. as has been established by many sources simply lifting the throttle on an F1 car gives to 1/6g of slowing instantaneously, 2.4 is merely tapping the brakes.

Even Mika H. noted that it was a pretty big stab at the brakes and Max should have been pulled over to one side rather than weaving in the middle of the track. Just sayin'. Not to mention the DQ in Brazil regarding something that typically isn't even checked, IIRC. I guess it seems to me that it would be much more popular if Max won this year. It would make for a FAR stronger draw next year. If Lewis wins, it does zilch for next year's crowd. I guess I have not heard a good reason as to WHY the FIA would want Lewis to win (and how there is a huge, silent conspiracy involving all the stewards; in fact the difficulty of such a conspiracy may be one reason not to have a traveling band of stewards).

They are far more important to F1 than Merc.

I was thinking that with 2 hard races on lulu's "hot" engine he'd start to lose some of it's grunt. But last weeks race was only about a 1/2 race. With all the yellow flags and so on. This championship has been baked in since Silverstone, if not before. The powers that be, that being the brits could never really stomach The Schu. Now one of their own has a chance to break his record and get the 8th WDC. Unless lulu bins it with Maxie nowhere in sight, this one is lulu's.

Lewis Hamilton is a great driver who can find that extra bit of speed in a way only about six or seven of his F1 peers, throughout history, can do.
He's also a self-serving asshole who plays dirty politics in the exact same way he accuses others of doing, and he's in no way deserved even half of the championships he's been awarded.

Fuck cheating Merc. This cannot be overstated, and yeah, fuck Tracing Point, too. Used to be one of my favorite teams. Now they're the worst.

I remember reading that they were going to use that engine for Saudi, but then I thought I hear reference to them NOT using it in the end last week. Did you read anywhere that they definitely did? The Merc top speed was about the same as the Red Bulls, I think. Different aero packages, though.
