Supposedly red Bull snitched. Nope. Top 3 in quali get all the scrutineering tests. So now Lewis really is like Schumacher? Once a cheater, always a cheater. Right British media pundits? (I'm looking at you Matt ciggy Bishop) One other thing. Why isn't Bottles in the same boat. Team screwing him by having the DRS only on Ham's car illegal? The snitch was rumored before quali and involved the wing flexing at speed creating too large an opening. If that's the case both RB and Merc were probably surprised that it didn't pass a static test.

And then there's Max with a legal flapper.

I spy with my little eye, a rear wing which does not comply!

We got ourselves a DRS-gate, pun intended.
How can Hamilton's car be legal for anything moving forward this weekend?
Wasnt Haas or Alpha Tauri fully DQ' for a race weekend not long ago for DRS out of spec?

^ This would explain why Hamilton was 5.5 kph faster than Bottas on the straight.

I bet deep inside Newey wishes Hamilton gets no penalty so he can open his rear wings more to let them breathe properly...LOL

Wing has been impounded and the stewards have adjourned until the morning to continue the investigation.

...No problem, Merc will just take another p/u. I think you are joking but if goes to the back Mercedes probably will give him another new engine. LOL I wouldn't LOL this one, I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Merc doesn't already have Lulu's PU set on 4 race power/reliability settings. If he gets pegged back to a pit lane start on Sunday they'll put a new one in and set it for 2 race settings.

Why does this have to be decided tomorrow?
It failed the test clearly. Just write the letter now, it would take 5 mins to do.
I think something is up.
Edit:
Maybe this is the reason. Max touched LH's car in park ferme.

Wing has been impounded and the stewards have adjourned until the morning to continue the investigation. Thank goodness they impounded the rear wing. Otherwise it would have desintegrated misteriously as a consequence of Max measuring the opening with his fingers

Or ended up on Bottas car.
This seems like a cut and dry decision. Lweis goes to the pit lane. Which means he might get intot the top 10 in the spring meaning he likely starts mid teens in the race. F1 wants this to go to Abu Dhabi but it seems unlikely.

Max in violation of the sporting code where only officials can touch in Parc Ferme.
2.5.1 Inside the Parc Fermé, only the officials assigned may enter. No operation, checking, tuning or repair is allowed unless authorised by the same officials or by the applicable regulations.
Penalties include fines, reprimands, grid positions, deletion of qualifying laps, just about all the FIA's tools up to and including disqualification, suspension, exclusion

It depends on who imposes the penalties, if it's the stewards for the rear wing then he serves THEIR penalty by starting in the pit. The PU swap will be an FIA penalty that will be served in the next race, and we all know those are less and less harsh the more you do.

I smell a rat. They'll give lulu a pass because it was unintentional or whatever. Then they'll drill maxie for touching lulu's car.
