Man, Max was losing it today. Whining and throwing his team under the bus.
Anyone notice that though Lewis jumped Max before the final turn, Max had already broken the unspoken agreement by jumping Lewis a couple of corners before and then slowing down even more (Lewis was RIGHT behind another car at T12). Lewis is getting into Max's head

I left practice 20 minutes early to beat the traffic, 3 hours and 10 minutes from the time I left my seat to when I pulled into my garage northwest of Houston, that trip is normally just over two hours. I think he finally accomplished his mission of turning a race weekend into a concert venue/theme park. I am guessing Drive to Survive played a much larger roll in this turn out that most will give it credit for. Lots of conversations from people who had never watched a race on tv let alone visited a track. As I mentioned earlier the foot traffic inside the track was horrendous, people blocking stairs going up and down the bridges, walk ways and acting like idiots in large crowds. I did over hear someone splainin' the shitty clay and how it messes with the track surface  If they don't get the layout better for next year its going to be a while before I got back to deal with that clusterfuck and I bet after this turn out prices go up at least 20% for next year. Thankfully SVRA is in two weeks and I will basically have the track to myself lol |

For whatever reason I am not liking the vibe they are going for this weekend. General admission is packed. I have never seen this many people here on a Friday and they basically crammed any empty section along the pathways with some type of booth be it apparel, drinks or food and of course those lines are blocking the walk ways..... Oh yeah dont try and walk around the track the dumbasses have it blocked off after t11...... Yeah great GA crowd today! Best I've seen out there since 2012. However, I saw a post by someone who said the broadcast said there were 125K people there today, which is patently absurd. That's at least twice as many people as were there. Didn't know they closed it past 11. That doesn't make any sense at all. |

Lewis is getting into Max's head Haven’t you been paying attention the past seven years? Max is a selfish douche bag. He’s not a team leader, not a team builder or even a team player. He’s in it completely for himself and puts up no fronts to hide it. He isn’t a hypocrite. The team leaders at RB are Newey, Horner, Marco and the final decider of all things is Dietrich. They will do whatever is necessary to make Max satisfied so he wins championships because he is probably the fastest driver in a F1 right now and thus their best bet. That is all they care about, winning championships, they don’t care what driver does it and they’ve never been hypocrites about that position either. Circling back to another conversation this is what makes Michael Schumacher the GOAT. He went into a Ferrari team that was completely in the weeds and personally brought in top engineers and mechanics from other teams and build a multi-championship winning machine. As for Lewis being in Max‘s head, you said that about three months ago and yet Max still leads the championship. I’m calling BS on that one. If anything the more crap Lewis pulls the more Max hardens his resolve to beat him. |

Every time he tops the timing sheets he is going to get a new engine. There's more to this in my opinion. There was a article on the web about 2014 when after pre season testing merc was so far ahead of everyone else they detuned their cars to limit the backlash. For 2014 - 2016 their only competition was between their drivers. In 2017 and again in 2018 that changed a bit. Ferrari was in the game for the 1st half of the season. After the summer break the mercs were suddenly faster. They finally had to turn the engine modes up a bit to beat the red cars. This year they finally have some real competition. They're running their engines at full potential. And it's causing problems. Bottax is on his 6th and according to the talking heads they figure lulu will need another. |

caught the last 5 minutes. Maxie's deleted fast time was 1:34:383. Lulu's deleted fast time was 1:34:458. Yet the talking heads repeated that when the crunch all their data, lulu will be .16 faster in qualifying.

They combine a drivers 3 best sector times from the session to make the perfect lap for comparisons. Reality is sometimes different.

Korean cable TV is lousy. no more NASCAR nor NHRA
