LANDO NORRIS! GEORGE RUSSELL! Oh. My. God. I am so excited for both of them. No mention for Sainz' 1st ever front row? There's already been enough 'Brit-Luv' to last out this century. We need as many in front of Hamboner to disrupt his 'plan'.

I would have dickpunched Hamilton hard, Lando is a much better person than me.

I would like to be a fly on the wall in the Aston Martin debrief. Stroll running Seb into the wall. I guess ya can do that if your daddy owns the team.

Oh I am gutted for Lando. I must admit I am happy to see Lewis ahead of Max. I think I might dislike Max even more than I dislike Lewis.
For a hot second Fernando was on the podium. That was exciting.
All in all this was a fun race to watch. Even with the rain at the end. (Which I hate).

Really amazing to see Lewis crumble under all that pressure.
That was cool when Alonso was in third but he also pushed too far, like Lando.
Helluva drive, Max, before the rain even. He's so damn fast and in tune with his car.

As much as I hate seeing Lewis win it was a pretty good race with Max limiting the damage somehow coming home second. I think Lewis won on strategy and not anything special from the Merc team. It was terrible strategy from Ferrari in the early stages and McLaren in the end. Sometimes the best way to win is let the competition beat themselves. I really don't understand how these teams follow the weather. I was looking at the weather channel radar and you could see it was going to rain before the end of the race.

Really amazing to see Lewis crumble under all that pressure. Sarcasm perhaps? The race I watched had Lewis pretty much in the cat bird seat for taking the points lead and the win fell into his waiting arms. I didn't notice much pressure or crumbling.

Tell me again why we need the Sprint race. "IMO" if it was a dry weekend, this would have been a nice circuit for the Sprint.

Did anyone else notice that RB's decision to take the engine change was perfect?

The posts earlier in the thread about how he was under so much pressure and it was forcing him into bad performances. I had to watch the race in a hurry (after it was over) so I didn't really understand how both Lewis and Lando ended up more than a pit stop ahead of everyone else. When it started raining they had a clear track behind them for a free pit stop, but as noted by the announcers that was an advantage for Lewis because he could make the choice to pit for inters after Lando. Of course, the announcers earlier were questioning the Mercedes strategy with Lewis going long but it turned out pretty good in the end, even without the rain.

That Lightning McQueen move was bad for Norris. Should have taken the tires.
Congrats Lewis for your 100th. It will take another century to surpass. This record is in-surpassable.

......It will take another century to surpass. This record is in-surpassable. That's what they said when when Prost won 51 and when Schumi won 91. Both were surpassed within 20 years.
