Oh god. In the Autosports forum, Hamilton fangirls are calling for Lewis to have pole based on today's results. According to them 1st place on qualy race tomorrow is not pole

Well, that was fun. I'm happy for George Russell. I am still not sure about this way to do qualifying. I am trying to keep an open mind, but really I still think it's stupid.

Maybe this Q session should be done when the unload the cars off the trucks. After this Q session they can tune up the cars in P1 & P2 for the Sprint Race and Feature Race. After all NASCAR has been having the Race be the ONLY on track session in all races for 2020 and most of the 2021 races. |

I guess I'm just not used to such deity-like treatment of sports stars in the US. No country fellates its sporting stars like England. Not Spain, not Germany, not even Italy. Would you believe that us Yanks had a moviie called "Bend It Like Beckam" that didn't feature the namesake at all? (I imagine that would have tripled the production cost) |

If you can't make changes there is no reason to have any sessions after parc ferme is invoked. |

If I am remembering the rules correctly there are still some things on the car they can adjust even parc ferme. So P2 this morning was not a complete waste of time
