I don't doubt Lewis' talent, but a little bit of humility and acting a little bit less of an asshole (like, you know, early in is career) would go a long way to making him likable. Right now, to me at least, he's just a narcissistic, annoying pinworm.

And what was with Norris?
He pulls out of Hamilton's way. No hint of a fight there.
Was he ordered out of the way as well?
Merc engine and all.

Bloody hell that was a good race. I hate that I was rooting for Hamilton but I was. I dislike Max even more than I dislike Lewis.
That being said, I do hope Max is alright. That was a scary crash and he looked a little wobbly getting out of the car.
Alonso starts seventh and finishes seventh. So, he was nothing if not consistent. (he is still and will always be my favorite).

I knew the Lewis haters would be up in arms :-) I think it is funny that a Horner says "everyone knows you don't stick your nose in at that corner" when at the opening of the broadcast was a celebration of Prost sticking his nose in that corner against Senna. Hamilton was slowing down; before anyone turned their steering wheels the F1 IG images show that Lewis' front wing was about 12" behind Max's. Lewis was pointed at the apex. That's what the pictures show. Argue with them :-) Charles let Lewis get in his head.
It was a helluva drive by Lewis, Charles and both MacLarens. George looked more human today. Too bad Vettel spun it.
The red flag was clearly necessary. Can't argue that one, can you?

I had a feeling this championship was going to get ugly and it got really ugly really fast. Hopeful it continues to be entertaining and no one gets seriously hurt. The gloves are off now and the participants may come to regret it.

Lewis was pointed at the apex. The stewards disagree.

I am no fan of Max and have been critical of his amateurish crashings a few years back, but he did nothing wrong today. Being 3/4 car length ahead, he had the corner, racing line and gave Hamilton enough room.
Hamilton decided to rosberg Max

... when at the opening of the broadcast was a celebration of Prost sticking his nose in that corner against Senna. As if that is any indication as to the legality or wisdom of doing so today ...

I had a feeling this championship was going to get ugly and it got really ugly really fast. Hopeful it continues to be entertaining and no one gets seriously hurt. The gloves are off now and the participants may come to regret it. I agree that this season just got real interesting. I hope Max is OK and won't miss any races. For those who say Lewis is so talented I disagree. Yes, he is a good driver. A good driver is fast in the fastest car on the track. The performance we have seen from Lewis the last few years in the Merc is at least 50% car. When a driver (George Russell) that is unfamiliar with a car can jump in it and run at the front its easy to see its the car. A great driver makes amazing passes on track and and can drive a shitbox of a car to the front. Lewis has done neither. As for today I believe Lewis has been around long enough to know exactly what he was doing. Did he mean to send Max to hospital? No but it was avoidable contact and he didn't avoid it. His behavior after the race is to me the lowest I've seen in a long time. He causes a crash that sends a driver to the hospital and he's celebrating with no remorse. Remember when Newman crashed at Daytona and Joe Gibbs shut down Hamlin's celebration? That needed to be done today to show respect.

If Hamilton were French or German, he'd be taking a few races off for that one.

Look at the images from about 0.2 seconds before when they were nearly dead even.

Lewis was pointed at the apex. The stewards disagree. Have been in a number of races where Dennis Dean was the Steward.

Lewis was pointed at the apex. The stewards disagree. Yep; they also decided that it was not worth more than ten seconds. I wouldn't be the first to disagree with the Stewards here.
