Anyone know why we don't get to see the cameras capturing Toto's reaction anymore when a Red Bull passes Lewis for the win? I always enjoyed that cocktail of frustration, embarrassment and humiliation.  |

Most likely because Toto was pulling some hapless, minor crews members arm out of it's socket at that time...and you know, the kids are watching. |

Well, looks like Mercedes loaded the 3-grid spot penalty pit exit fuel map on Bottas
This plus banning Red Bull flashing fast pit stops and sir Lulu is game

Bottas said they were trying something different to gain time; starting in second gear. A 3-place grid penalty seems reasonable; that was pretty dangerous.

so bottax left the pits in 2nd gear. And did a donut. They figured lulu lost a 10th in the pits because he spun his tires on the way out of his pit box. What gear was he using or what gear do they usually use when they leave their pit box? :-)

Wow, qualifying is brutally close. Inevitably when there's about to be a major regulation change to fix a lack of competition the field is suddenly competitive.  It's a short lap and makes for close times. |

Yay Lando! And Alonso in Q3 which is always fun.
So the sky tv boys were going on about how Torro Rosso was a huge advantage for Red Bull because they could help Max. If I were Pierre Gasley I would tell RB to go f*ck themselves. I wouldn't do them any favors. Not sure why the Sky boys think this is a likely scenario.

Up through 2016 MB looked at Williams as MB Lite....then MB poached Bottas to replace Nico and Williams went circling down the drain. Alpha Tauri has been a surprise on their competitiveness this year - especially Gasly. |
