He is supposed to be smarter than that! With the kind if hit LeClerc had - you change EVERYTHING you can by the rules at least, and EVERYTHING if there is the least suspicion it may have been damaged. That is leadership. The Italian press is gonna crucify Binotto Rightfully so.

I doubt he did the inspection of the gearbox He is supposed to be smarter than that! Binotto did not inspect the damage himself. He has others to listen to before he makes a decision.

I am sure the Ferrari decision was taken as a team, including the driver. Gambles work like this

Again - he is supposed to be smarter than that. That is why the mechanics don't RUN the operation. My experience with impacts and race cars - the stresses created by the initial impact get transmitted diagonally through the chassis. They had to change the RH driveshaft because of actual impact damage- so they had the driveshaft part of the gearbox apart - changing the LH driveshaft should have been a no brainer. LEADERSHIP

LEADERSHIP Especially after what Leclerc said in interview. It wasn't even the gearbox per say. It was the driveshafts. And damage you couldn't see. In what stupid universe, do you not change them out, even if you have to take a grid payment.

Taking a grid penalty for unknown, invisible damage would be absolutely stupid. And a fireable offense for Binotto.

Stroll bumped the right front.
No point for Bottas going out with that stripped lugnut.
If Da Coach saw that, he will be fuming and begin to throw a Foyt tantrum.
