They are now saying Charles is a DNS. Maybe this is a dumb question but do the rules prevent them from using a back up car after qualifying? I remember years ago if there was a first lap crash the race was restarted and anyone in the crash was getting into their backup.

they have enough parts to build a car. Kinda like what Haas did for Mick last night. Apparently on Micks car they replaced pretty much everything but the tub.

Sad. Reminds me of Monaco 2010. Car was running great and Alonso crashed. Had to start from pitlane but had awesome race and finished 6th.

Too bad we could not see Leclerc do the same
