A few years back it took toto a half a year to get his cars faster than the red cars. It took 3 races this year to get his cars faster than the ded cows. SPOT ON. Write this season off. PS. HAAS must GET RID of Mazepin. Worse driver of the generation. You both have PTSD. Relax, this season is far from over.

66 laps and the turn 14 track limit was only violated once.

Max is under World Championship pressure for the first time. Mistakes will, and are, happening.

The only way this season stays interesting is if maxie can stay close enough to the mercs to push em into making mistakes. with this track limit fiasco maxie was nearly 4/10ths off the pace in qualifying. not close enough.

The only way this season stays interesting is if maxie can stay close enough to the mercs to push em into making mistakes. with this track limit fiasco maxie was nearly 4/10ths off the pace in qualifying. not close enough. Max set time a good enough for pole position yesterday but it was delete for exceeding track limits. He didn't gain any time by exceeding those limits, in fact going off track on that lap cost him time yet it was the fastest time. In the race Max's car had trouble following closely and overtaking the Mercs. Had he been on pole and driving in clear air the entire race he probably would have won. This looks to be coming down to who, Lewis or Max, drives better on race day. Bahrain, Lewis drove better and won, Imola Max drove better and won. Today Lewis drove better and won. Isn't driver skill being the determining factor what all race fans want?

The Sky boys think Pirelli's conservative tire selection favored Merc and that RB will be stronger in the hotter weather summer races.

That was a pretty good race. If there had been a couple more laps Alonso would have passed Ocon. Max is on my nerves. I don't know why, he just is. I can't wait for Spain.

They were out of power in a 'exceeding track limits' sort of way! Their batteries still had 40% charge but it wasn't usable account the way the rules were structured for incidents that happened during the race. GENUINE CLUSTER F..K

I think the F1 equivalent would be have the drivers dump out gas during the safety car.

He needed to be, too, after another abysmal qualifying session where he didn't extract 3/5 of the car's potential. He was excellent on race day, though. 13th to 8th is Driver of the Day if you're British.

Where does not knowing enter into the equation?

I wonder if Hamilton could have passed Max if he hadn't bobbled shortly before the front straight. I recall that the spacing was fairly stable at that moment.
