To answer your specific question about Max: YES. You make mistakes, you pay the price. But everyone should be treated the same. It makes mistakes trivial. Mistakes in a race car at the F1 level should not be trivial. Then we would never get rookie drivers and all drivers would drive until they physically can't pass the drivers tests anymore, everyone makes mistakes but the old saying of 'how to make a billionaire into a millions..by getting him to buy an F1 team' would effectively end the sport. These billionaires needs ways to make their money and be flashy and having a 50+ year old driver still driving your car around isn't it but since you can't afford 'rookie mistakes' on the track you are stuck with what you have and no one will buy your team either as you can't afford to sell it at a rummage sale. You will keep putting your cars and drivers out there knowing they will come in last but at least your sponsors are getting eyes on the car they will keep paying you the lowest amount they can just to keep you out there.

Will Bottas and his new mindset get taken out by Hambone? He should.

This is why a few of us keep insisting that the track enforce it's own boundries. I'm a little disappointed you guys haven't gotten out there and fixed it by now. Fix it? We are not here to fix it. We are here to bitch and complain from the comfort of our armchairs while holding a beberage ;) I know, I know. I will just shut up and watch the first class drivers (aka British) be allowed to cross the lines because they are such great racers, while the peons are ruled with an iron fist at their minimum insolence of leaving the track limits

Welcome to the world of professional racing. Mazepin is such a yardstick for competence in F1.[/sarcasm]. Painted lines don't breed respect.

Yes - track limits have more consequence than deleted times - track limits enforce deleted sessions or deleted races. Truth be told - the first white line is the track limit - and everyone violates that on every turn, every lap. Park them all! If you have paved it - drivers will use it. What is the advantage to F1 to have cars destroyed? Why do you think it is wrong to set track limits other than where you think they should be? I just don't get the militancy here. It is what it is; relax. Because like mmi said. The drivers have no respect for the track.
I thought all you guys are convinced that the F1 drivers are the greatest in the world? If so, then why can't they manage to stay on the track?
Kinda funny, because some 18 year old kid in daddys Sprint Car knows enough not to simply hold the throttle and then hit the wall at Eldora.
To finish first, first you must finish.

Interesting that Raikkonen arrives to the track earliest of all the drivers and is with the team principals. I wonder if this means he is working to buy a piece of Alfa. I mean parking lot status is very telling!

He's expressed no interest in the past. Prolly something to do with this Alfa Romeo wins right to review Raikkonen Imola F1 penalty www.motorsport.com/f1/news/alfa-romeo-review-penalty-raikkonen-imola/6500876/

A few years back it took toto a half a year to get his cars faster than the red cars. It took 3 races this year to get his cars faster than the ded cows.

If 'Track Limits' are to be considered legit - it is DQ on 1st transgression!
