When did I ever say this? ....any driver on the F1 grid is in the top 0.1% or so....
And it is more like 6 or 7 current drivers could have done what Lewis did in the Mercedes. Rosberg winning a WDC proves it. The Mercedes cars of the past 8 years are the most dominate F1 has ever seen. That is a fact backed up by performance data. You are just pissed because deep down you know I'm correct. I brought up 0.1% Do you disagree that these are the top of the top here in F1? Because if only 6 or 7 drivers could have done what Hamilton did that does not bear out that the driver is so little when so few in the world could achieve that feat. Rosberg beat Schumacher three years in a row as well so he was not a doormat. Then he lost 3 of 4 to Hamilton, generally by a fair amount. I mean seriously; I consider winning 3 out of 4 seasons to be pretty damn good. And the dominance was not the same every year. There was work to be done in some years. If you have anything, anything at all, to indicate where your 10% number comes from I'd love to hear it. Seriously! :-) I mean, I know these are just guesses but I have at least indicated why I think what I do. I have explained all of this to you at least 10 times before this discussion. It is all supported by hard data. You are just too dense to grasp the truth. If you did the math via comparable lap times you would see my 90/10 breakdown works out perfectly to predict what pace any driver will be able to achieve in any car. Again, the drivers are important, just not in the ways you think they are. Pistola has asked me to stop this thread jack so I am done. Bye, bye. |

Approach it from the other side and tell me why Michael Andretti was not as fast as Ayrton Senna and how it was his fault. Probably because he failed to even get off the grid often enough to show what he could do. Remember the abortive tries Indycar made at using real. big-boy standing starts? |

That would be bad, very bad. There's a way it can be done. Merc signs Russel for 2023 on wards and gives Bottas a one year extension, they then agree to pay Williams Russel's 2022 retainer, this will keep George out of Horner's clutches for the time being. Or they could stop being little bitches and sign him to a 3 year (#2 status for the 1st 1-2 year) deal and start saving for Lulu's golden watch.  |
