That last race was amazing! Can Checo go back to back?
Will we get to see my favorite dog back in the Merc?
Discuss!

Sad that Grosjean won't be racing. Fittipaldi didn't look that great overall but it was hard to tell.

Engine penalties for both Perez and MagnussenSergio Perez and Kevin Magnussen are both set for grid drops at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix due to some pesky engine penalties. With the 17th and final race weekend now underway, many drivers are on the limit when it comes to their engine components available in their respective pools before penalties have to be applied. As FP1 began at the Yas Marina circuit, the FIA confirmed that power unit elements had been changed on the cars of Perez and Magnussen. Perez, who clinched his maiden Formula 1 win with victory at the Sakhir Grand Prix last weekend, has had a new ICE fitted, as well as a new turbocharger and MGU-K element. That takes him to a season total of four for all three of these particular engine components and, as a result, is required to start from the back of the grid. The same penalty applies for Magnussen, who is now onto his third Control Electronics and Energy Store. www.planetf1.com/news/abu-dhabi-gp-grid-penalties/

I watched the Alonso video a few times now, I know the car is slower than the cars of today but it looks so much faster due to the sound and how it moves around Takes me back to the races in Indy sitting on the backstretch, only sat on the outside of the front stretch once for some reason....

It was in the low 1:40's which would have split the Haas cars at the rear in FP1. In FP2 that time wouldn't even have gotten a glimpse of the rear of the pack.
Alonso was on it, it was no cheapo demonstration run.
