Last race was amazing! Go McLaren!
We will keep feeding the Merc crew red wine so they continue to mess up.
Lewis on scooter last race was a LOL.
Can Alpha Tauri go back to back?
Discuss! (and happy long weekend!)

Will they ban drivers from talking to the Stewards mid race? What if every driver and their engineer who gets a penalty wants to talk to them during a red flag and heads up to knock on their door?

(and happy long weekend!) So am I the only one who hates the idiotic rule that allows changing tires in the pits under the red flag? Un.Real. That's a McLaren 1-2 otherwise. No matter whom benefits from it or is hurt by it, it's just amazing to me that it's even a thing...esp when it would be so simple to have a rule against that.

This is what I was wondering. They should ban it, if there isn't already a rule against it. Lewis crying to the stewards mid-red flag was ... maybe the most Lewis thing ever (other than pics of him praying in the water on a surfboard, but of course not surfing on it, etc).

Gasly had already pitted for tires before the red flag so I think the best McLaren would done was 2-3. Stroll was the one who got the free pit stop. He was still on his first set of tires when the red flag came out.

The issue isn't allowing the changing of tires, the issue is allowing a change of compound. If Stroll had put new tires of the same compound and still needed to pit for a different compound I am fine. But allowing a team to gain an instant 30 second advantage is a flaw in the rule. Changing ducting or repairing damage gains you a small advantage over 1 lap. Being able to complete a race distance without pitting( under the safety car or race conditions) is an unfair advantage.

Red flag = no working on the car - period. Except that is not the rules that apply to F1.

This can't be right. There's no paved runoff.

Looks narrow and tight, no previous F1 racing there; perfect scenario for some chaos. Only thing lacking is the girder-bridge spanning the entire track right before the pit entry with a "Pits Closed Lewis!" lamp.

At least there is one zone. Some regular tracks have none. I am look at you Catalunya.

I know a little about Tuscany. The Etruscan who lived in the area now called Tuscany existed hundreds of years before Romulus and Remus were being suckled by a wolf on the banks of the Tiber river. Current day info evolves from the movie "Under The Tuscan Sun". :-)
