When Merc told Bottas lulu was diffidently pitting again i though he was being punked. I guess this was the one they owed him for Singapore.

That had to be one of the worst combinations of announcing and race televising ever. Is Sky really the best there is? Reminds me once again why I favored F1TV. I could eliminate half the problem by turning off the announcers. Agreed, it is becoming unbearable. The Brits never stop talking and the cameras are never on the action they should be following.

Every time Bottas wins I get so confused. Could it be Merc. throwing Bot-ass the occasional 'bone'?

...it is becoming unbearable. The Brits never stop talking... It's not just Brits on Sky... Listen to a NASCAR race sometime, or IndyCar, or Formula-e, baseball, football, virtually any sporting event... There are too many announcers, all fighting for airtime, acting as if they're getting paid by the word...

Can't allow even a moment of "Dead Air" hence the overlapping babble of multiple "Color Commentators" to fill any gap in the audio or action. This is Television at it's most annoying level! And don't forget the sound effects--the whizzing sounds etc. which accompany the video & title effects! Sometimes the visual and aural assault makes me want to kill the TV!

The TV announcers think they are broadcasting radio - they are trying to paint a verbal picture when the actual picture is much better. STFU!

^^ I sure do wish that the Brit announcer (Simon) would stop blurting out "And now, the penultimate lap!" Which elevates the importance of " the lap before the last lap" in the minds of many!

There is a problem. When I click on the link, I get a very rude message from my virus protection. I tried a different link in a different topic and got something similar. Other sites such as news feeds work just fine.
Edit: Here is the report:

I'll beat Zytes to his favorite line:
"Clear your cache."

The only ones it confuses are those who don't know what the world penultimate means. I know full well what it means. Apparently, the person operating the "Checkered Flag" display does not! It's Simon's screechy delivery that makes it seem as though "the race is over!"

If you click on reply and then right mouse for "Inspect Element" you will find this:

There is a similar line for Facebook. My research shows these are actually low risk tracking apps, so maybe my settings changed or Norton has upgraded their protection levels.

I did find the page on my own without the link that is blocked by Norton, and this kind of mistake could have serious consequences at some point. It did change the final points.

I am glad F1 has a legislated 15K Maximum rev limit - if that telemetry is correct - they aren't even reaching 12K.

Vettel did an excellent job maximizing corner exits onto the straights.
