Just to revive the debate; Alonso was a great driver but a shitty employee and teammate. Now that he is older and there are some young guns looking good I just don't see any team he would consider worthy bringing him in. As much as it pains me to agree with Carlo, if RB had a desire to partner Fred with Max they would have done so already. And if Ferrari had a desire to pair Fred with Seb, they would have done so already. Clearly Hamilton and Fred wouldn't work so that's off the table. I doubt he will ever drive an F1 car in anger again. I think... oh, forget it. What do I know? ... I think Ferrari were 'committed' to following Sergio Marchionne's choice of 'CharLeclerc' as Vettel's teammate. They didn't have the guts to go against the corporate plan? Ahi, smettila di colpirmi!

Fernando's only crime is that he won't work as a peon, won't take the blame for the mistakes of others! ie. bosses! I can understand because I, as well, have never been inclined towards subordination.

There's some great test video out there. Dude looks absolutely possessed behind the wheel. Seems to be on a mission.

In the "Poorly Kept Secrets" category, we have AutoHebdo confirming Ocon to Renault...

LOL so Alonso is not back in F1 yet? I guess it's sort of exciting since I saw Albon in the driver's lounge and now he is on the A squad.

Reports today are very firm that Hulk will go to Haas presumably into Grosjean's seat. I could see RoGro (the Swiss boy) sliding over to Alfa where Giovinazzi hasn't really done a thing.

If RoGro can leave his attitude at home I could see that happening, I'd give him a one year with options. Does Ferrari have any academy prospects ready? Or is Schui Jr behind groomed for that seat?

The FIA needs a new Formula. For guys like rogo and pastor what's his name. We'll call it formula C. For formula crash. Make it like the old destruction derby get togethers we used to have at the county fairs back in the day. :-)
