24 year old Kat Moller was killed in her jet car at Sebring Dragway... An 1/8th mile track on the front stretch of the road course. She was so friendly, sweet, and beautiful... She will be sorely missed by all of us who knew her :(

She will be sorely missed by all of us who knew her :( Front stretch is bounded by Jersey wall at the exit of Turn 17 (Sunset Bend) and the Jersey wall of Turn 1. Jersey can be very unforgiving. Jersey Barriers had nothing to do with it... The antiquated timing system had a battery in a wooden crate, sitting on the centerline, right at the finishline... Car drifted to the right (from left lane) and collected what should have been a foam block... The battery hit her right in the helmet, she was gone before the car coasted to a stop...  |

Still a tough one to accept... Sebring Raceway tried to book me in w/ the BackMotor funny car, a few months after this tragedy... Told them NO, after what happened to my Friend Kat !!  |
